The Picton Karting Track was set up to make motorsport accessible – to everyone. They firmly believe in the huge power of motorsport to thrill and inspire and see no reason why it should not be part of whether you’re a professional karter, leisurely Karter or a rental karter, regardless of ability or background. They also thoroughly believe that motorsport is the most engaging sport possible. It is something special that inspires and engages those who have had the chance to participate and it often rubs off in so many areas.
The Picton Karting Track is an outdoor circuit that caters for the go hire kart clients as well as for the karters that have their own kart that leisurely practice at their own speeds. The track also is an AKA (Australian Karting Association) race track approved and is the home for the Wollongong Kart Racing Club which holds seven race meets in a calendar year and to many other race club meets.

Go Kart at Picton
A day at Picton Kart track with my friend Jean-Claude having some fun. The Karts are both Arrow AX9's with Yamaha J engines.

First time in a KZ2 Gearbox Kart. Never had so much fun in a kart before. 115 KPH + on a small straight is just mind blowing. Loved every bit of it. Check it out!

Today I put the Sony AS100V on the helmet and for a few laps.
I am driving a Arrow Track Warrior with 4 stroke race engine.
The engine is a Subaru KX 21. Link down bellow where I bought mine.

Close Go Kart race Final (Picton Race Track)
On the 21/9/2014, I went to the Picton Race Track to race. In the Final, I had some close racing with number 13. I also had some close racing with number 12 P for a few seconds but then he was in front of me and 13 and he pulled away. After a few laps I finally overtook number 13 and tried to catch number 12 P but he was too far away from me and I couldn't catch up. A few laps after I overtook number 13, he was involved in a Red Flag accident with number 27. I didn't see it because it happened behind me. Number 7 said that 27 flipped over and landed on the driver. He was ok which was a relief but number 13 hurt his arm (don't know if he broke it or it just hurts). Because there were only 3 laps to go in the race, the officials decided to end the race and not count the lap that had the accident in it. I came 10th in the race.
