It was a beautiful day in July and I just had to take my Mavic Pro drone out to Pier 4 Park in Hamilton, Ontario. Pier 4 Park is a 2.4 hectare park found in the west-end of Hamilton Harbour. The park features a multi-use asphalt trail, which provides barrier-free access to all areas of the park and linkages with the surrounding harbourfront. The park includes a 24-metre tugboat which acts as the centrepiece of an interactive water play area for children. A dramatically curved lookout pier includes a protected sun shelter and benches to view the marinas, parkland and vistas of the surrounding Bay.

Bayfront Park North West Hamilton Waterfront Trails & Pier 4 Park Real Estate Neighbourhood Features
Located in the west end of Hamilton Harbour at the end of Bay Street North you'll find Bayfront Park. It has 40 acres of beautiful walkways, gorgeous greenery and lovely views of the waterfront with a small protected sandy beach. The walkway that surrounds the park is 20 feet wide and just under 1.5 km long, and is well used by people walking, jogging, rollerblading and bike riding. There are many summer festivals and concerts held in the park and it is a fabulous spot to watch the fireworks display usually held on Canada Day. Bayfront Park connects to Pier 4 Park by the Macassa Bay walkway and the new Hamilton Harbour Waterfront Trail. There is ample access to the water's edge, lots of trees for shade and picnics, plenty of benches, a free public boat launch, a big parking lot and public washrooms. People of all ages enjoy the nature views, the fish and the waterfowl, including ducks, geese and swans.
Nearby attractions include the Harbour West Marina Complex, Macassa Bay Yacht Club, Pier 8, HHC Sailing School and the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club

I brought my drone to Pier 4 in the North End of Hamilton, Ontario and made this short video.
It was a bit windy but otherwise I think I had a good flight.
Not too many people around and it was the first time flying my drone over water.
