Solo camping & hiking Pilot Bay on Kootenay Lake in British Columbia (2018)
What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time.
I camped at Pilot Bay provincial park and then hiked the peninsula trail, at least as far as I could on a hot day. . . My mom suffered with panic attacks and so I talk about that on this trip. This was filmed in 4K so hopefully you can watch it on a high resolution tv.

White Rock is a city in British Columbia, Canada, that lies within the Metro Vancouver regional district. It borders Semiahmoo Bay and is surrounded on three sides by the City of Surrey, British Columbia. To the south lies the Semiahmoo First Nation, which is within the city limits of Surrey. Semiahmoo Bay and the Southern Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia are also to the south.
The boundaries between White Rock and Surrey are Bergstrom Road (136 Street) to the west, North Bluff Road (16th Avenue) to the north, Stayte Road (160 Street) to the east, and 8th Avenue to the south. The area south of 8 Avenue from Stayte Road westward to where 8 Avenue meets the water is the Semiahmoo Indian Reserve and lies within the bounds of the City of Surrey (though it is governed separately). The Surrey neighbourhoods of Ocean Park and Crescent Beach lie immediately to the northwest.
White Rock pier on a warm August dayWhite Rock has a moderate climate, with average daily high temperatures of 23 degrees Celsius in summer and 6 degrees Celsius in winter. Pilots accustomed to flying around the area often refer to it as 'the hole in the sky', referring to the fact that White Rock is often bright and sunny while the rest of the Lower Mainland is covered by cloud.
The pier and promenade are popular destinations, but do not allow dogs, bicycles or skateboards. These areas are very busy during the warmer summer months.
Tofino is a district of about 1,876 residents on the west coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada, located at the western terminus of Highway 4, on the tip of the Esowista Peninsula, at the southern edge of Clayoquot Sound. The settlement of Tofino first acquired the name in 1909 with the opening of the Tofino Post Office, named in association with Tofino Inlet nearby. Tofino Inlet was named in 1792 by the Spanish commanders Galiano and Valdés, in honor of Admiral Vicente Tofiño, under whom Galiano had learned cartography.A popular tourist destination in the summer, Tofino's population swells to many times its winter size. It attracts surfers, nature lovers, campers, whale watchers, fishermen, or anyone just looking to be close to nature. In the winter it is not as bustling, although many people visit Tofino and the west coast to watch storms on the water. Close to Tofino is Long Beach, a scenic and popular year-round destination, at the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Nearby Maquinna Marine Provincial Park, with its natural hot springs, is located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Tofino and is also a popular day-trip destination for tourists although it is only reachable by boat or float plane.Wikipedia
Hiking & Camping in Cathedral Lakes Provincial Park in British Columbia (2018)
What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time.
Spent 3 days with friends in the majestic Cascade Mountains hiking on rim trails and crossing glaciers. It's not for the faint of heart! If you enjoy lakes and alpine meadows this is the place for you! Filmed in 4K. And just like the trails here are so well marked with cairns, so the pathway of our life is well marked when you read the Bible. God will guide us!!

Solo Winter Backpacking to Jumbo Pass in the Canadian Purcell's (2018)
What the world needs is hope and healing one step at a time.
I went on the spur of the moment backpacking trip because I saw the weather was gonna be good for two days. I had just come back from a discouraging rainy Mt. Rainier trek, so wanted to do something to make up for it! This trek didn't turn out completely as planned, but God saw me thru! I will cherish the photos and memories forever. This was filmed in 4K. Are we supposed to fear God?

Living in Vernon BC
Life in Vernon BC is idyllic! Surrounded by three lakes there is so much water fun in Vernon BC. Snow skiing in Vernon is fabulous at Silver Start ski hill. Watch our Vernon Vipers play at Kal Tire Place. Golfing in the Okanagan doesnt get any better than four golf courses in Vernon BC. Take a wine tour in the Okanagan, so many to visit. Downtown Vernon is quaint, charming and so friendly.

Путешествие по Канаде. День 9. Города Вернон и Келоуна в провинции Британская Колумбия.
============================================

North by Northwest Territories (Pt. 20) - Hiking the Boot Lake Trail
November 14, 2019 - Today I'm going to be hiking the Boot Lake Trail, a short 3.94 km loop trail around Boot Lake in southeastern Inuvik. The trail itself is also a part of the much larger Great Trail (or, Trans Canada Trail) network. It's a quaint relaxing hike through the woods around the lake as well as along the Mackenzie River, only a stone's throw away from town.

Algunas zonas Residenciales de Brandon Manitoba Canada. - jimmy's cuisine
Algunas zonas Residenciales de Brandon Manitoba Canada. - jimmy's cuisine.

The Community
The Slocan Valley is located in the Kootenays region of British Columbia. The discovery of silver in the 1890s brought prospectors by the thousands to the Slocan Valley. Known for good reason as the Silvery Slocan, most communities in the area owe their existence to silver. Known at one time, a booming city of 6,000 people around the year 1900, Slocan City today is now a small logging and mill town.
A drive up the Slocan Valley and the Upper Arrow Lake area runs from Salmo to Galena Bay via Highways 6 and 23, as well as a side trip to Kaslo on Highway 31A, including Valhalla and Monashee Provincial Parks. This is a very pretty drive, not to be attempted in a rush. By their very nature, the Selkirk Mountains define this part of the Kootenays. Highway 6 links Salmo with Highway 23 and stern-wheeling Nakusp, and forms alliances with branches of Highway 3 (Crowsnest Highway) to wrap all who journey here in a seductive embrace. Love at first sight is the reaction of many visitors to the Kootenays.
Winding gently through one of the most beautiful river valleys in British Columbia, the Slocan Valley Rail Trail offers easy access to 50 km of breath taking scenery. Following the contours of the Slocan River, the trail makes its way from Slocan Lake in the North, towards the Kootenay River in the South. From the beaches that line its path, to pristine wildlife sanctuaries, world-class fishing, white water rafting, and some of the quaintest cafes in BC, the trail is extensively used by both locals and people from all over the world. The trail brings your close to mixed forests, meadows, wetlands, river shoreline and rocky escarpments, and all the amenities our valley has to offer.
To add to all this beauty and history, amenities like schools, shopping, business and banking are all within a short drive away. Nelson and Castlegar are approximately 30 minute drive south with convenience stores along the drive as well as banking opportunities. Schools are excellent here from public schools to private schools as well as college opportunities. Bus routes are available for the children and travel daily during the school year as well as public transit heading into Nelson & Castlegar for the work commuting. Community spirit is very much alive and well in the Slocan Valley with many annual activities such as the Fall Fair, Garlic Festival, Halloween celebration, Canada Day events and local farmer's markets.
Looking for an idyllic place to raise a family away from the stresses of the city life? Don't look any further than this property as its location and proximity to the Slocan River will give you the peace of rural life in spades!
How To Find Creston Real Estate - 4628 32nd St. Canyon, BC 250-984-3241
Creston Real Estate is a property marketing company specializing in providing traditional and leading edge real estate marketing techniques for private sellers of residential, condo or commercial properties.
Creston Real Estate in NOT a Real Estate Agency.
We provide people who have made the decision to sell a home, property, condo or commercial property they own...For Sale By Owners...the opportunity to effectively market their real estate in Creston and area to the greatest number of potential buyers cost effectively.
Unfortunately most private sellers fall very short in their efforts to market their properties!
A little sign with the phone number written on it with felt pen set up at the end of the drive...the odd newspaper or coffee time paper ad...all adds up to the property owner having to wait a long time to find a buyer!
Why are most private sellers having to wait a long time to find a buyer?
Well it certainely isn't from a lack of wanting to sell their properties...but it is from a serious lack of properly marketing their properties in ways that they will receive the greatest out reach and touch points for potential buyers to find them and their properties for sale.
and are going to sell it without a real estate agency involved.
