Sawblade Falls is a scenic waterfall located on Burke Mountain in Pinecone Burke Provincial Park, Coquitlam. The Woodland Walk Trail takes you 4 km up to the base of the falls. Along the way, you walk through the beautiful forest of Burke Mountain and pass by the smaller Woodland Falls.

Munro Lake Trail, Pinecone Burke Provincial Park BC
Munro Lake Trail is located Coquitlam area. About 10.5 km roundtrip with elevation gain of 776 metres takes about 4 to 5 hours to finish. It's a moderate hike. You can also hike to Dennett Lake from Munro Lake that is about 1.5 km more. Next time will go back to explore Dennett Lake!

Munro Lake and Dennett Lake are two beautiful lakes which can be accessed via a steep hike in Pinecone Burke Provincial Park, Coquitlam.
The lakes are close to each other, although separated by about 120 meters of elevation. You first reach Munro Lake along the trail, and then carry on another 1 km to Dennett Lake. Between the two lakes, there is an incredible viewpoint looking east.

Coquitlam Crunch Trail is located at Coquitlam BC. The trail is about 4.5 km round trip. 280 meters in elevation. Average time 1.5 hours. Rated as intermediate. It is easier than the Grouse Grind. It is great for a quick work out!

Bears of Burke Mountain (Coquitlam)
There's a lot of wildlife in our neighbourhood on Burke Mountain in Coquitlam. We often see bears, deer and coyotes. This morning, I heard something like our organics bin being dragged down the laneway and looked outside to see a black bear with it.
Crystal Falls Trail in Coquitlam
The hike to Crystal Falls in Coquitlam is a easy 7km round-trip route that follows the Coquitlam River to the scenic water fall. The waterfall is located along Pritchett Creek on the edge of Pinecone Burke Provincial Park.
