Norfolk Island Pine Care Indoors and Update
This is such a popular plant to buy during Christmas. These plants can be very difficult to grow if you don't have the right conditions for the,.. if the air is too dry this plant will suffer.. if the soil becomes too dry this plant will suffer... if you over water.... well i think you get the point..lol... However I would give it a try. when you finally get the hang of growing this plant it's a beautiful specimen and very rewarding.

More information about the video content bellow:
1. Norfolk Island is a small island in the Pacific Ocean located between Australia, New Zealand, and New Caledonia. Together with the two neighbouring islands Phillip Island and Nepean Island it forms one of the Commonwealth of Australia's external territories.
2. This tiny rocky outcrop in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is still technically a territory under Australian control, but its home to its own highly distinctive way of life.
3. Norfolk Island was settled by East Polynesian seafarers either from the Kermadec Islands north of New Zealand or from the North Island of New Zealand. They arrived in the thirteenth or fourteenth century, and survived for several generations before disappearing. They must have disappeared at least a few hundred years before Europeans arrived as the island was covered with forest by then. Norfolk Island began its colonial life as a penal colony and then became home to the Bounty Mutineers who the current residents are mostly decedents of today.
4. Norfuk or Norf'k is the language spoken on Norfolk Island (in the Pacific Ocean) by the local residents. It is a blend of 18th-century English and Tahitian, originally introduced by Pitkern-speaking settlers from the Pitcairn Islands. Along with English, it is the co-official language of Norfolk Island.
5. Kingston is the capital of the Australian South Pacific Territory of Norfolk Island. The vice-regal, legislative, administrative and judicial offices are all located in Kingston. The town is the second-oldest in Australia, and is of great historical and cultural significance to all Norfolk Islanders and other Australians.
6. To get there from the Australian mainland, there are only two flights a week from each Sydney and Brisbane and you have to fly from their international airports. Supplies from the mainland come via ship but once a month, and offloading the cargo can be quite an adventure due to the rugged coastline which requires large ships to anchor at least 1km offshore.
7. Thanks to the strict customs laws designed to protect the native ecosystem, there are no snakes on the island, nor are there centipedes, sand flies or fruit flies. As with virtually everywhere on earth though, there was no keeping the cockroaches out! While the wildlife is not so distinctive from elsewhere, there are 40 unique plant species, with the island the birthplace of that most famous of trees – the Norfolk pine.
