Just a short flight over the river. Was a windy day, so I didn't want to fly too close to the water. Be sure to check out my other videos!

Kelly's Run Trail Holtwood, PA
I hiked the Kelly's Run Trail in Holtwood, PA on Sept. 1, 2018 with my friend Alex and my 3 year old golden retriever Nala.
After having several days in the 90's this week, it was a welcome change to have a cooler day in the 70's to hike.
This was my 2nd time hiking this trail and Alex's first time.
We took a little side trip and hiked up to Pinnacle Overlook. The total time was 6 hours. We took a lot of extra time to video, eat lunch and just enjoy the scenery.
The trail had a variety of scenery and some easy paths and some tough paths with a little climbing over large rocks. That was a lot of fun but I think my favorite part was the multiple creek crossings.
We had a great time and I can't wait to go back.
My main camera was a Canon 6D markii with a monopod. The lens was a Canon 24-70mm f/4. The second camera was an Akaso action camera.

Holtwood Dam: A Pre-Winter Completion
Cianbro team members have put in productive hours toward completing work at the Holtwood Dam project in Pennsylvania, where owner Talen Energy is preparing to meet licensing requirements as part of an expansion at their hydro facility on the Susquehanna River. The expansion means that Talen must be extra careful about providing good environmental stewardship for the river, and Cianbro has been on hand to ensure that the hydro facility has the upgrades necessary to be in full compliance with federal standards. Cianbro project leaders join Talen’s plant manager in providing an update on the status of the picturesque job.
Conestoga Trail Hike Pequea to Holtwood
Hike along the Susquehanna River on the Conestoga Trail from the Pequea boat ramp to Holtwood Recreation Area. This is one of the most scenic sections of the Conestoga Trail.
Conestoga Trail (southern portion) in Lancaster County- Still Shot
The Conestoga Trail winds 63 miles through Lancaster County, PA on its way to the Otter Creek Recreational Area in York County. The first 51 miles basically utilizes roads and fields, so I chose to only do the last 12 very scenic miles. Great views of the Susquehanna from high cliffs, and two extremely scenic runs make this a classic hike (except you will need two vehicles because this is a linear hike). Definitely my favorite hike in eastern PA. I apologize for the music...it's an original because I can't use someone else's music on YouTube...that's a no no! Please feel free to watch other hiking videos on my channel...and if I beg...will you subscribe so I can get filthy rich....or something like that? Thanks for viewing. Phil 4:13
