Piran is the historic town of the Slovenian coast near the Croatian border. The dominant feature of the city is the Church and the Great Square. Above the city, the old Town Walls are preserved. In the city you can visit the aquarium, cruise ships with glazed bottom around the city or take a stroll to the Tower and the town walls and enjoy the views.

Piran is a beautiful coastal town that occupies the tip of Piran Peninsula.
Compact houses and narrow streets rise in steps from the coastline to inland, giving the city its charming look.
Piran's rich history and culture can be seen woven throughout the streets and the facades of its plentiful buildings.
At the heart of Piran lies Tartini Square, once the town's harbor, there is now a bronze statue of Giuseppi Tartini, the famous composer known for the creation of the Devil's Trill Sonata.
Located in churches throughout the town, many valuable historical artifacts and art hide behind their walls.
On top of a hill overlooking the coastal town is the St. Georges Church which provides some of the best views of Piran.
Churches, museums and art galleries are plentiful in Piran, demonstrating the town's immense history and culture; it even has an aquarium
