Intoxx Offride HD Pirat' Parc, Gruissan
Despite being unique and intense, with sudden, forceful movements, only a few of these Mondial Inferno have ever been made, most of them being travelling models, like this one. However, in a surprise announcement earlier this year, Canada's Wonderland in Toronto will be installing one of these flat rides in 2017, under the name 'Soaring Timbers'. Could this legendary travelling flat ride experience a second-coming under Cedar Fair?
This specific ride, filmed at the summer funfair Pirat' Parc in Gruissan southern France, is quite rare, even amongst other Mondial Infernos, as I believe it's the only floorless/inverted model in existence, offering a different axis of rotation, which might offer a better ride. However, the capacity of Intoxx is only 24 riders - 14 fewer than the standard model and may be slightly shorter in height. Still, like its compatriots, this ride runs a very long - and very intense ride cycle.
