Piss Sculpture, Prague, Czech
A part of my Architectural trip to Europe in March 16-29. We visited the Piss Sculpture on March 18, it's right in front of Kafka Museum. You can send a text message to a number (listed nearby the sculpture) and the sculpture will spell the message for you.
Prague, Czech Republic 'Piss Sculpture'
Peeing Statues in Prague
These statues were created by famous Czech artist and sculptor David Černý. Statues represent two bronze sculptures (clearly both male) peeing into their oddly-shaped enclosure. However they are not just peeing, with the stream of water they write quotes from famous Prague residents. These statues became so popular among visitors that now you can send SMS message from mobile phone to a number, displayed next to the sculptures and the living statue then 'writes' the text of the message, before carrying on as before.

Over Charles Bridge, the Franz Kafka museum immediately to the right (Cihelná 2b) harbours one of Cerny's most humorous creations. Affectionately titled, Piss, it features two gyrating, mechanical men urinating on a map of the Czech Republic. Text a personal message to the number next to the exhibit and these chaps will happily waggle their bronze penises around to spell it out for you.

Peeing Statues in Prague-Filmed in 1080pee!
These peeing statues in front of the Kafka Museum in Prague are quite uniquel. They were created in 2004 by Czech artist David Cerny and are supposed to be peeing on the Czech Republic itself. There is even a mobile number you can text with a message which will then be writtenin the water by the peeing statues. I'm glad I filmed this in 1080pee!

Pissing on Czech Republic?
A fountain made by Černý in 2004 titled Piss. Notice that the pool under the statues outlines the borders of Czech Republic. A subliminal message?

Peeing statues in Prague - tour group
These famous statues in Prague pee into a puddle shaped like the Czech Republic. The tour guide was talking about an American teacher who used to go to Prague every year with a group of students. One year, she decided to be funny and knelt down to catch the wather in her mouth. But students took pictures or video of it and she never came back after that.
But who knows if that's actually true.
Peeing statues in Prague
These famous statues in Prague pee into a puddle shaped like the Czech Republic. The work was created by David Černý, a Czech sculptor. He his famous for creating a number of controversial (and strange) sculptures.
Here's his wiki page.
Piss Sculpture in Prague
David Černý made a bronze sculpture with two male figures peeing. The figures are able to turn their hips and lift their penises in such a way that the stream is writing letters on the surface. This unusual moving sculpture has political undertones but is amusing to watch as two male statues are apparently peeing on the ‘capitol’s of the Czech Republic.Popular with tour groups who surround the piece.
