Piton Falls, St. Lucia
Located on the road on the way to the Jalousie Plantation is the Piton Falls. Here warm mineral water cascades 30 feet into a pool below. After a strenuous day of climbing the Gros Piton, relaxing our tired muscles in the warm waters in one of the three mineral pools was a great way to end our day!

SUGAR BEACH, DIAMOND FALLS, & SULPHUR SPRINGS VOLCANO | ST LUCIA TRAVEL VLOG
The final vlog in my St Lucia travel series. We visited Sugar Beach, Diamond Falls, Sulphur Springs volcano, and Piton Falls - whilst staying at luxury resort, Ladera.
------------
I'm Chloë. I live in London, UK, with my three boys, aged six and under, and my boyfriend, Sam. And my absolute favourite thing in the world is documenting our family story through words, videos, and photos.
I started my blog when my firstborn was a baby. I was 25, and my whole world had changed with an unplanned pregnancy. I felt lonely and bored and was hoping a blog might help connect me with like-minded parents whilst also giving me a much needed creative focus.
Our sudden ascent into parenthood was messy, life with kids is messy, and so is the state of my head at the best of times- hence Sorry About The Mess.
Things are much more settled in our life now. I've gone on to have two more children, and you'll mainly find me chatting about house renovations (we bought a fixer-upper), my motherhood experience so far, and plans for our upcoming wedding!
As well as blogging and vlogging, you can find me chatting away daily on Instagram.
The digital record, that's for me, really. So I'll be able to look back and recall every fibre of the happy moments, the everyday moments, and the big life events that make up our family story.

The Warm Baths St Lucia, September 26, 2017
We finally found the Warm Baths... aka Piton Falls and Mineral Baths near Sugar Beach on St. Lucia. A short hike takes you down into the ravine at the pools near the bottom. Hot/warm water comes from the Soufriere volcano and is caught here for a nice relaxing bath. The guides bring coca beans, fruit and coconuts for you to taste. It's a very inexpensive way to end a long day of exploring.
Piton Waterfalls of St Lucia
Rare is the beauty of St. Lucia’s warm, mineral springs pouring from the majestic Pitons, the lush, tropical gardens that surround them, and the iridescent hummingbirds that flutter above.

St Lucia (Part 4 - Soufriere to Pitons)
No mountain pair is as famous as the Saint Lucia Pitons, the island’s iconic mountains. The Pitons are protected as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the dramatic twin peaks of Gros Piton and Petit Piton are among the Caribbean island’s most memorable landmarks. Towering 2,619 feet (798 meters) above sea level, the Gros Piton, the larger of the two, is also a popular challenge for avid hikers. They do resemble a pair of Megalodon shark tooth.
Soufrière, St Lucia
Surrounded by lush rain forests, sandy beaches and the Caribbean blue sea. Soufrière is the perfect mix of the true authentic Saint Lucia, combining elegance and luxury with Caribbean charm.
The UNESCO world heritage site of the famous, twin towering, volcanic peaks of the pitons are always in site as you make your way around this beautiful area of St Lucia.
Soufrière town is the ideal place to soak up some history and culture. From the historic colonial buildings and shops to the relaxing sea front and harbour, it truly is a picturesque setting to experience St Lucian every day life.
Soufrière is named after the french word 'sulphur' at the foot of the Soufrière volcano with its sulphur springs. Now a popular visitor attraction you're able to see the live volcano steaming and bubbling. For a more interactive experience why not enjoy a mud bath in bathing pools blessed with volcanic minerals and health giving properties, everyone enjoys a bath.
When staying in Soufrière there is a wide range of accommodation options. From tranquil working plantations to quaint hotels overlooking the beach to luxury resorts hidden away in the lush hillside, wherever you stay you're never too far from the magnificent view of the Pitons.
Eating in Soufrière is always a delight whether in a cafe serving fresh, homegrown, local dishes or the full fine dining experience with stunning scenic views. Taste the incredible chocolate from the local plantations or sip a cocktail to a glorious sunset.
Exploring Soufrière will bring you close to the natural beauty the area has to offer. Wonder through botanical gardens and rain forests and take in the many breath taking waterfalls, flowers and amazing bird life. You may even see the beautiful hummingbird.
Take a walking tour into the surrounding hills, for more flora, fauna and prime views. For the most adventurous, hike the Gros Piton. You are never too far from a gorgeous beach and the chance to do some diving or snorkeling in the crystal clear waters.
With the many cocoa plantations to explore, you can see how traditional methods of production produce the finest chocolate. Fun for all the family is an exhilarating zip lining adventure in the Morne Coubaril Estate whilst also having time to learn about its fascinating history and culture of more home chocolate as well as coconut produce and the sugar cane.
Wherever you find yourself in Soufrière this always a picture perfect opportunity to capture the incredible Pitons. The combination of mountains, ocean and sunsets create an endless supply of five star views to take your breath away.
The natural beauty of this sleepy town considered by some the heart and soul of St Lucia will stay in your heart long after you have left.

Diamond Falls, Soufriere, St. Lucia
This in the botanical gardens in Soufriere. The waterfall has sulfur/iron in the water and so it has colored the rock underneath to give it an interesting color. Very relaxing place.
Sulphur Springs Drive-in Volcano, Soufriere, St. Lucia
We experienced the hot water, steam, gases and aroma of Sulphur Springs--the Caribbean's only drive-in volcano. We visited Sulphur Springs on August 20, 2011. Sulphur Springs is located in Soufriere, St. Lucia.
Port of Soufriere, St Lucia

Pitons. Soufriere. St Lucia
