Riding Bikes at Pitt Meadows Pitt River Regional Greenway
It's summer again! Time to use our bikes and ride all over Vancouver. Today we went to Pitt Meadows trail. It's really nice and sunny out and people are enjoying it. Best place in Pitt Meadow's to watch a Sunset go for a run or walk and listen & watch Bird's Frogs , Seals & Otters.
Adventure ni kuya Rad, Sa Pitt River Regional Greenway( Edited Version)
Ang pagriride ng motor dito sa Canada pag winter season ay napaka-lucky na sa rider(I'm lucky naka pagride pa ako). Normally, may snow na sa ground kaya wala ka ng makita mga riders at nasa storage mga motor nila from Nov.- May. In short, six months lang and riding season dito.( Sa PNAS all year round).
Samahan nyo ako sa adventure natin at this time sa Pitt River Greenway.
DAGDAG KAALAMAN PO:
This Greenway is on a dyke that was originally built to protect the early agrcultural lands and associated farming community of Pitt Meadows. Pitt is of dutch origin from the term Pitt foldermeaning converted wetlands and related to dyke Dutch building company of this area in mid-1900s.
The Greenway is part of the experience the Fraser's Coast to Canyon Trail and the Great Trail(Formerly named the transCanada trail). It connects to the large network of trails, providing even more opportunities to expand your exploration of the region and beyond.

Pitt Wildlife Loop Trail, Pitt Meadows BC
Nice walk with dukes and two wooden towers with views of Pitt Lake. Located at Pitt Meadows. About 7 km round-trip. 150 elevation gain. Average time 1.5 - 2 hours to complete. Rated as easy. Quite of people come here to checkout the birds, ducks and swans. Great area for biking, trail running and walking!

Part of the Trans Canada Trail.
About 2.5 Km's of the Dyke. Would have gone farther but I heard an airplane and although I was flying pretty low I did not want to take any chances.

Tour De November - My 64km mtb ride
A video summary or my 64km bike ride on November 1st. Started in Surrey, rode down to GoldenEars Bridge, around the Pitt Meadows dyke. Crossed over Pitt River Bridge into Port Coquitlam. Made my way on the Traboulay PoCo Trail to Colony farms. From there made my way into New Westminster where the video ends but my ride continued over the Pattullo Bridge and back through Surrey Central and home..My most epic ride becasue of the distance.
My bike is a Norco Sight 7.2 Carbon, This was shot using my Garmin Verb Elite POV camera and was edited using iMovie on my iMac.
