Not many people are aware there is a second tea house in Lake Louise besides the Lake Agnes Teahouse. In the summer months hundreds of people visit the Lake Agnes Tea House but only a fraction of those numbers hike to the Plain of Six Glaciers. The walk to the Plains of Six Glaciers and the Tea House is most definitely something to remember. The Tea House is a bit of a hike and strenuous, however well worth it. The trail to the Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House takes you up close to the heart of Mount Lefroy, Mount Victoria and the Victoria Glacier. You can order food and drink in this remote Tea House and really savor the beauty of the mountains. Most hikers end their hike at the Teahouse. If you continue on one more mile the view is even more outstanding. Taking an additional (less than one mile trail) past the tea house along a lateral moraine arrives at the Abbot Pass where the view is also really impressive.
