Winter bicycling w 1bicycleddie, Cranbury to Plainsboro, NJ Jan 8, 2012
I had done several nite time videos to see how the Flip worked and I was happy w the work. But now I wanted to ride in the daylight. I waited too long and ended up going out late afternoon Jan 8. However the wind was not bad. As I edited this video, I realized it was very shaky, I attribute that to my adrenaline flowing as I struggled to avoid cars on Dey Rd. right off RT 130. Still I managed to get some good farm shots. only thing is that the number of days to ride on this road is probably under 20 days a year that the ride is nice. Too many cars, the bike paths are not hooked up and while it fit my needs for a winter ride, I think few othe cyclists would enjoy this ride. Better to use the car, haul your bike to the Delaware Raritan canal near Princeton. That is my goal for the weekend of Jan 14, 15. This clip shows just how dangerous it is to ride in NJ. I'll not ride on Dey Rd. again. GPS 40.33503005827232 -74.58755493164062

Montgomery Township Townhouse For Sale: 79 Truman Avenue, Princeton, New Jersey
An open floor plan, gleaming finishes and trendy upgrades give this light-filled Montgomery Hills townhome contemporary appeal. A great location with a Princeton address and Montgomery Township schools sweetens the deal. The 3-level interior begins with a 2-story foyer with broad floor tiles that transition to Brazilian Koa hardwood, prized for its rich color and distinctive grain, in the dining and living rooms. A wraparound breakfast bar conceals any untidiness around the double kitchen sink, while maintaining an open feel and showing off the stainless steel cooking appliances. A breakfast room leads to the deck with a backdrop of mature trees. The finished basement also has sliders to the outdoors, as well as a bar for the avid entertainer. An upstairs loft, perfect for work or reading, is just outside the master suite with a peaked ceiling, walk-in closet and a private bath with all space and appointments desired for easy sharing. A second delightful bedroom uses the roomy hall bath. A soft palette and recessed lighting throughout enhance the calm, clean, contemporary feel.

SUMMARY
=======
Princeton is a municipality with a borough form of government in Mercer County, New Jersey, United States, that was established in its current form on January 1, 2013, through the consolidation of the Borough of Princeton and Princeton Township. As of the 2010 United States Census, the municipality's population was 28,572, reflecting the former township's population of 16,265, along with the 12,307 in the former borough.Princeton was founded before the American Revolution and is best known as the home of Princeton University, located in the community since 1756. Although its association with the university is primarily what makes Princeton a college town, other important institutions in the area include the Institute for Advanced Study, Westminster Choir College, Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory, Princeton Theological Seminary, Opinion Research Corporation, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Siemens Corporate Research, SRI International, FMC Corporation, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Amrep, Church and Dwight, Berlitz International, and Dow Jones & Company.
Princeton is roughly equidistant from New York City and Philadelphia. It is close to many major highways that serve both cities (e.g. Interstate 95 and US Route 1), and receives major television and radio broadcasts from each. It is also close to Trenton, New Jersey's capital city, and Edison.
The New Jersey governor’s official residence has been in Princeton since 1945, when Morven in what was then Princeton Borough became the first Governor's mansion. It was later replaced by the larger Drumthwacket, a colonial mansion located in the former Township. Morven became a museum property of the New Jersey Historical Society.
Princeton was ranked 15th of the top 100 towns in the United States to Live and Work In by Money Magazine in 2005.
Throughout much of its history, the community was composed of two separate municipalities: a township and a borough. The central borough was completely surrounded by the township. The borough seceded from the township in 1894 in a dispute over school taxes; the two municipalities later formed the Princeton Public Schools, and some other public services were conducted together before they were reunited into a single Princeton in January 2013. Princeton Borough contained Nassau Street, the main commercial street, most of the University campus, and incorporated most of the urban area until the postwar suburbanization. The borough and township had roughly equal populations.

just some gravel road clips from an awesome ride up in New Paltz
secluded bicycling w 1bicycleddie Fall field, Plainsboro, NJ 10 24 2012
I videoed these clips to show fall colors in the Central NJ area. The weather was wonderful and I love to ride in the fall. In the fall of 2011, I rode and filmed a lot in Northampton County, PA. I was searching for a certain effect that is only apparent in the late hours of a Fall afternoon. I am trying to capture the feeling of having golden leaves fall down in a forest that still has some golden leaves attached to the trees. If the forest floor is covered with the already dropped leaves, if the leaves are falling and the sun is setting just so, the effect is that your path is a Golden journey thru life's changes from summer to the Fall. I have only experienced this effect about 10 times in my life, however the effect is on that makes me think of heaven and so last Fall, I labeled those videos, Searching for the Streets of Gold. I did find some good Streets of Gold and they can be seen in my Videos date around Nov 3, 2011, look for titles such as Wind Gap, PA, Belfast, PA or Plainfield Township, PA, include Streets of Gold in your search terms if you are using Google to hit Youtube. After the Hurricane of Oct 29, I will go out into Central NJ and search for the Streets of Gold.
