Banh Mi in Hanoi ft. Charly Cheer & Annie Vu
Today in Vietnam, we eat Bánh Mì (Vietnamese sandwiches) with YouTubers Charly and Annie. They show us where to eat a delicious vegan version of this signature Vietnamese dish. Can you believe this street food is less than $1 US? Afterwards they accompany me to BBQ Chicken Street. For round three, we have dessert in the Old Quarter. We also check out West Lake, a temple, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, search for a cafe that serves egg coffee and more! Watch the video to see the eventful day unfold :)

How to Make Vietnamese Egg Coffee (Liquid Tiramisu Recipe) - Cà Phê Trứng Coffee Recipe
FULL VIETNAMESE EGG COFFEE RECIPE:
Liquid tiramisu? The Vietnamese have been enjoying it for ages! It's called Vietnamese Egg Cream Coffee (Cà Phê Trứng). We'll show you how to make this rich, decadent treat that's both easy and amazingly delicious. We use a Vietnamese coffee filter in the video, but you can also use any strong coffee or espresso.
Eggs in coffee is almost unheard of in the western world. When I first heard about it, I instantly pictured an omelette-flavored franken-beverage. Boy, was I wrong. This recipe is AMAZING.
Vietnamese Egg Coffee is extremely thick, sweet, foamy, and rich. Each sweet sip envelops the tongue - almost like it's swimming in a thick, frothy bath of liquid tiramisu or coffee-flavored eggnog (without the eggnog 'wang'). The separate layers of dark, bitter coffee and sweet cream contrast each other beautifully, and play a back-and-forth dance on your tastebuds as you drink it.
Visit my website for the full recipe, ingredient list, tools, and tips:
* IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS: *
- If you're concerned about food-borne illness, pasteurized eggs can be used.
- Visit for information on safe food handling.
- Consumption of raw eggs is not recommended and is only done at your own risk.

Trying EGG COFFEE in HANOI Vietnam | Cafe Phố Cổ Best Egg Coffee?
In this food vlog we try some of the famous egg coffee in Hanoi Vietnam. Cafe Pho Co was the Cafe we decided to try it at in the main old quarter square in Hanoi.
Vietnamese Coffee is a must try when you are in Vietnam but in Hanoi we have been hearing about this special egg coffee (Cà Phê Trứng) from many people and that it was a must try when you are in the city.
We were with coffee some coffee lovers (Sam and Linh) and they really liked the coffee at Cafe Pho Co. I also thought the egg coffee was unique and tasty as well. Would you try some egg coffee?

Hanoi Train Street Vietnam at Night ????????
■ HANOI, VIETNAM: During my first visit to the famous train street in Vietnam's capitol Hanoi, I thought given the amount of cafes there, that it would be an even livelier area at night. So after a visit to the gym and a well deserved (and mucho mucho needed) shower, I went back to see if I could not only catch a train hurtling by, but some entertaining beverages as well. . .
Before I started filing a spent roughly an hour and a half here. It really is the coolest place to meet locals as well as other Asian tourists in possibly the whole city. Elsewhere people can be less talkative and groups of people somewhat hard to break in to. Not here...
What's a Daily Lunch Break Like in Hanoi City? (Phố Duy Tân, Cầu Giấy) | LIFE IN VIETNAM
Lunch breaks are a crucial part of the daily work grind, no matter where in the world you live. Vietnam's lunch breaks are similar to those of anywhere else: people eat, then they relax a bit before going back to work.
In Vietnam, they enjoy sitting on small plastic stools on the sidewalk. At these outdoor, make-shift cafes, customers eat sunflower seeds and drink tea. While relaxing like this, they do all the normal things anyone else does in other countries. They socialize, play on their cell phones, and just take it easy.
I thought the little stools on the sidewalks really sets apart lunch breaks from other countries that I've been to.
Vietnam also enjoys siesta time. So people will take breaks anywhere from 1 to 2 hours long, including lots of chilling and/or actual nap time back home or at the office.
What's lunch breaks like in your country? Is there something that everyone does that you don't see elsewhere? Let me know in the comments below!

We found a bunch of unique and delicious Vietnamese street foods that you really need to try, all around Hanoi's old quarter! Despite this area being quite tourist, we found a lot of delicious food, so far, this has been the BEST street food city I've visited in Southeast asia!
In this Vietnam Street Food tour video, Myself (Trevor James, The Food Ranger), am taking you on a food street journey to many delicious, mouthwatering street food places around Hanoi in Northern Vietnam. If you're deciding whether or not to travel to Vietnam for the street food, you really need to come visit Hanoi. You can enjoy unique Vietnamese street foods hidden in Hanoi's old quarter alleyways and try classic Vietnam cuisine specialties like Pho for Breakfast, Bun Cha for lunch, A ton of different rice noodle dishes, and a ton of other hidden delights.
Over the past 3 years, I've filmed and eaten street food around China, including locations like Chengdu, Lanzhou, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Beijing, Wuhan, Leshan, Shanghai, and Xinjiang's Silk Road. So far, the street food in each of these locations has been the best street food around the world! BUT, I haven't shot a ton of street food in Southeast Asia, so we made it our goal to come to Vietnam to try the street foods. So far, it has totally been worth it!
Vietnamese cuisine is so delicious, and even though I've only been here a short while, I'm sure that it would really need a lifetime to eat all of it. I've decided to stay living in China, and move around to other countries like Vietnam for another year or two or even more, shooting delicious street food in china for you and across asia as well!
Here are the addresses and locations and restaurant names for the Vietnam street food I had in this Hanoi, Vietnam travel video. Most locations were deep in Hanoi's old quarter alleyways!

Visiting Hanoi's Cat Cafe | VTV World
Cats are one of the most popular pets in the world. Those fluffy little goofballs with a ton of personality have stolen the hearts of many people. But not all can afford to have cats in their homes.
To solve that problem, a new kind of business have appeared, where you can pay to play and hang out with dozens of cats of all shapes and sizes. They are called Cat Cafes.
These cat cafes have been getting popular in Vietnam as the purrfect spot for cat lovers to hang out. Let's check out what it's like visiting one of them with VTV World!
A CAFE YOU MUST VISIT WHEN IN HANOI
Just play the video and leave it on your screen, grab a cub of coffee, chat with friends, or focus on your work. This will help you relax, improve your workflow.
The DONG KINH NGHIA THUC Square is the most visited centre point in Hanoi. Located right next to the Hoan Kiem Lake, within the famous Old Quarter. Here is 1 view from one of the most popular local Cafe, Cong caphe. The noise, the view, the feel... you'd know what it's like to actually be in Vietnam, or Hanoi in particular.

Hanoi's Old Quarter BANH MI PATE | CHEAP Vietnamese STREET FOOD in Hanoi Vietnam
Today's episode is all about discovering new places and variation of foods. It
was a cool day in Hanoi and I went to Xofa Cafe and Bistro for a client
meeting. I tried my first ever peach and passion fruit tea. I chose the hot
one to match the beautiful weather and sat outside. The cafe has a really
cool and rustic vibe. It was very relaxing. After my meeting, I stayed for
a little bit to just chill and not think of anything.
When I got hungry, my mind kept telling me to get a banh mi sandwich. And so
I left the cafe and walked around the Old Quarter to find a good one. It
was lunch time and everybody was eating different types of noodles and rice
dishes. It was a peaceful lunch time at OQ compared to the normal crazy night
life. This is what I like about their culture. People at work would take time
and eat lunch with their workmates.
I think it was a good 30-45 minutes before I finally found a banh mi stall.
Technically, I found a few but decided to skip them hoping I would find a
good one. I was immediatly surprised by how cheap it was for 20.000vnd. I
ordered one for me to try and I started filming her. The lady was very nice
and welcoming. She started by getting the bread from the oven. I am not even sure
if she reheated it. Then, she sliced in and put all types of meat, pate, veg,
and sauce.
She was so fast that I didn't realize she's done. The first banh mi I ate had
the opposite process. Ingredients first, then bread is reheated last. So,
every single ingredient is served hot. I got the impression that it won't be
as fresh and hot as the first one I had and I was right. At first bite, I got
a little bit of crunch. You know the texture of a reheated bread that sat
for a little while before you ate it? That's exactly how it felt. But the
flavor of the bread is pretty good.
The main star of this banh mi is actually the pate which she generously put
inside the baguette. It reminded me of the Pan De Sal and Reno Liver Spread
I used to eat growing up. But this one had thinly sliced processed meat,
pickled veg, and sauce. Overall, it was a good experience. The banh mi was
not 100% good. But the best part for me is that every bite of it brought
beautiful memories from my childhood. I bought another sandwich to bring home
and have my sister and Kayla try it too.
It was a short, simple, and special episode for me. It reminded me that
fancy and expensive foods can be really great but simple foods made from the
heart touches one's soul forever. What is your childhood comfort food? Comment
below and I will see you on Episode 8!♥♥♥
