Video of Northwood North London | What's it like to live in Northwood?
Watch this video of the forthcoming Octagon 6 bed home in one of Northwood’s most exclusive roads and get a tour of the surrounding area.
36 Linksway is a magnificent family home, set in landscaped gardens, boastng cinema and bar. Completion: Winter 2015
Northwood is hard to beat for family friendly commuter convenience in a glorious green setting. The area is dotted with a plethora of golf courses, including Moor Park, Northwood, Haste Hill, Pinner Hill, Sandy Lodge and Batchworth Golf Clubs. The adjoining Oxhey Woods and Copse Wood add to the leafy backdrop, while to the west is a stunning succession of lakes, making this the perfect place for outdoor pursuits.
A lively multicultural scene is reflected in the numerous excellent restaurants and leisure facilities.
The M25, M1, A1(M) and A41 are close by and Northwood station offers a frequent service to London Baker Street via the tube network in approximately 35 minutes. The M40 provides direct access to the M25 at Junction 16; Junction 18 is equidistant. The M1 lies a few miles to the east whilst Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted Airports are all easily accessible via the M25.

The Legacy of the London Cage
In her latest work The London Cage: The Secret History of Britain's World War II Interrogation Centre, author and historian Helen Fry delves into the fiercely guarded secrets of London's WWII interrogation centre, based in Kensington Palace Gardens. The centre had a large influence in the running of post-war investigations, which Helen discusses here.

HARROW MORE RUBBISH 12TH AUG 2015 WATFORD ROAD
I often take a walk to Playgolf Northwick Park Complex via Watford Road. The rubbish and flytipping seen on this video has built up over several months and basically proves that either Harrow or Brent council (or both) have been failing to keep our streets, pavements and green areas litter free. It almost seems they want the public to complain so that they can pressure the government for more funds or offer an easy excuse to increase our Council Taxes. I've already contacted Harrow Council but they are very slow to respond . It is shameful that this Labour run council have betrayed the trust of their residents and utterly failed in their duty to keep Harrow clean. If the responsibilty for cleaning this stretch of Watford Road is the responsibility of Brent , then they are just as culpable. In Harrow we pay one of the highest council taxes of all London Boroughs but frequently get ultra poor value for money.

FINSBURY PARK - SPRING
If you love London then you'll love us!
Subscribe to see what the capital has to offer.
Finsbury Park is a 46 hectares (110 acres) public park in the London Borough of Haringey. Officially part of the London neighbourhood of Harringay, it is also adjacent to Stroud Green, the Finsbury Park district and Manor House. It was one of the first of the great London parks laid out in the Victorian era.
Sports facilities in the park include football pitches, a bowling green, an athletics stadium, and tennis and basketball courts. Unusually for London, the park hosts two facilities for American sports: an American football field, home national champions London Blitz, and diamonds for softball and baseball, home to the national champions the London Mets.
Entrances on Endymion Road N4, Seven Sisters Road N4 and Green Lanes N4.
A £5 million Heritage Lottery Fund Award, made in 2003, enabled significant renovations including cleaning the lake, building a new cafe and children's playground and resurfacing and repairing the tennis courts.
