MILAN - FashionTV is backstage at the Frankie Morello show during Milan Men's Fashion Week Fall 2013. New face Gianluca Albonico from Italy says this is his second show in Milan. The hair for this show, according to hairstylist Beppe D'Elia, is really sleek and shiny to play up against the graphic collection. The collection is inspired by contemporary architecture, says Pierfrancesco Gigliotti, one half of the duo that make up Frankie Morello.

MILAN - Did you notice that the shapes from Sportmax this Fall/Winter 2012-2013 looked like the shapes found in karate, judo, and Tae Kwan Do uniforms? It was obvious that Sportmax took its inspiration from martial arts, particularly in the dress fighters wear when they're showcasing their skill. Oriental themes are obviously big for Fall so this is not particularly surprising but it was interesting how Sportmax chose to play up this theme in a streamlined sportswear way, rather than the more elegant style of say, Zac Posen's glamorous Eastern-inspired gowns. The collection in general played up Fall themes and maintained an urban vibe that is directly in line with the signature Sportmax look, though there were more royal blues and blacks than we've ever seen before.

In this video I have shown how to make them on lathe machine. Now let us go through the old lambretta history of various models. Model LD was between years 1951 to 1958 and model E and F 1953-1954, 1954-1955 respectively. The Lambretta TV200 (or GT200 in the UK) was a motor scooter produced by Innocenti from April 1963 to October 1965. During this time, 14,982 units were made for and exported to markets outside of Italy. Li series 1 was between 1958 to 1959. And Li series 2 was between 1959 to 1961. Li series 3 was in between years 1961 to 1968. Lambretta Li 125 Specials were made from 1965 to 1969 (starting with frame numbers 850001) by Italian manufacturer Innocenti based in Milan. It inherited the same streamlined body styling from its older sibling the Li 150 Special, which, in turn had inherited its styling from the TV range. These variations included the octagonal headlamp bezel, shortened horn cast grill, front mudguard and side panels with aluminium flashes. The 125 Special emerged two years after the 150 Special and, although carried a smaller capacity engine, was in fact a more highly tuned machine featuring many improvements over the 150. Just one year before Innocenti introduced the sportier SX range of scooters the 125 Special represented a new level of scooter tuning, a level of tuning that would later be seen in the SX150 and SX200. This is why the 125 Special is often referred to as the SX125 even though it does not carry an 'X' badge or an SX frame number; though they do share the same larger script 'Lambretta' legshield badge. The 150 Special was introduced in 1963 as a sportier alternative to the standard Li 150. The compression ratio was increased from 7:1 to 7.5:1 giving the special 8.25 bhp (6 kW) over the standard 150's 6.6 bhp (5 kW). The introduction of the 125 Special brought with it a further compression ratio increase up to 8:1 producing 7.12 bhp (5 kW) over the 5.5 bhp (4 kW) of the standard Li 125. The 125 Special along with the SX150 and SX200 featured a larger 20 mm Dell'Orto carburetor over the 18 mm carburetor found on the 150 Special. Although the 150 Special had a higher top speed the tuning improvements along with a new gearbox, which would later wind up in the DL/GP range of scooters, gave the 125 Special an advantage in acceleration. Between 1965 and 1969 a total of 29,841 Li 125 Specials were produced and were only available in light blue metallic (paint available from Lechler, code 8061) with white internals (petrol tank, air intake box, tool box, mudguard) and grey rubber trim. There were changes to the 125 Special during its 5 years of production the first of which was a change from a white button switch to black buttons sometime during 1966. J range was in between years of 1964 to 1971. The Lambretta SX200, or SpecialX200, was Lambretta's top-of-the line scooter, with 20,783 units produced from January 1966 January 1969. The SX200 superseded the TV200 as a more reliable 200 cc scooter designed for the world market, but was released at a time when scooter sales, and motorcycle sales in general, were starting to dwindle. The SX benefited from its ability to be tuned for more speed and power, thus making it a favourite with the then-burgeoning scooter racing scene in the UK. Many dealer specials were produced, based on the SX200, including the Arthur Francis S-Type, Supertune Rallye, and the Rafferty Newman Wildcat.
In Italy the SX200 was only available in one colour: white with an ox blood red seat. British models were offered with either blue, black, green, gold, purple or red panelling, whilst other export models offered a choice of seat covering colours, namely green, dark blue and light blue. It also came in a smaller 150 cc version, the SX150, of which 31,238 units were built. Lui/Vega/Cometa were in between 1968 to 1970. The Lambretta GP/DL range was the final range of classic Lambrettas to be produced before Lambretta was sold to British Leyland Motor Corporation in 1971. The range was called the DL in most countries, but was called the GP (standing for Grand Prix) in Britain and some other countries. This was in order to associate the scooters with Formula One which was extremely popular and successful in the late 1960s. The GP/DL range was designed by Nuccio Bertone who was also acclaimed for designing several vehicles for Alfa Romeo, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Fiat. The GP/DL range was offered with three different engine sizes: 125, 150, and 200. The three versions were visually very similar in appearance. The 200cc version was fitted with an internal disc brake and had improved front suspension due to additional front dampers being fitted. In April 1971, Italian production of GP/DL Lambrettas ended with the closure of the Innocenti factory.

TV Series 1 and 2 and Lambretta Li Front Mudguard Bumper Crash bar Guard Stainless Steel. Lambretta is the brand name of a line of motor scooters initially manufactured in Milan, Italy, by Innocenti. The name is derived from the word Lambrate, the suburb of Milan named after the river which flows through the area, and where the factory was located. The last Lambretta made in Italy rolled off the line in 1972

. The C model is launched in the early 1950s. This is the first Lambretta with the tubular steel frame that forms the basis for other models. The Vespa and Lambretta are both characterised by style, beauty and the promise of freedom. But they have divided the world into two equally fanatical set of followers. Vespa or Lambretta. La Lambretta è uno scooter italiano prodotto dalla industria meccanica Innocenti di Milano, nel quartiere Lambrate, dal 1947 al 1972. Il nome Lambretta deriva dal fiume Lambro, che scorre nella zona in cui sorgevano proprio gli stabilimenti di produzione. Nel 1922 Ferdinando Innocenti di Pescia diede vita ad una fabbrica di tubi d'acciaio a Roma. Nel 1931 spostò tutti i propri affari a Milano, costituendo nel 1933 a Lambrate la più grande fabbrica di tubazioni d'acciaio senza giunti.
Durante la seconda guerra mondiale, la fabbrica fu bombardata e completamente distrutta. Innocenti, nell'attesa di riacquisire da parte degli Alleati gli stabilimenti di Milano, diede vita nella Capitale allo studio del prodotto che avrebbe costituito la riconversione post-bellica della fabbrica: infatti, prendendo ispirazione proprio dai motorscooter militari americani giunti in Italia durante la guerra, e comprendendo le nuove necessità di motorizzazione utili alla popolazione nell'immediato dopoguerra, decise di dedicarsi alla produzione del rivoluzionario scooter. Affida il design del nuovo veicolo ad una straordinaria accoppiata di ingegneri aeronautici: Pier Luigi Torre, che si occupa della meccanica, (lo stesso che aveva creato i motori dell'idrovolante Savoia-Marchetti S.55A della trasvolata atlantica di Italo Balbo) e ricostruisce gli stabilimenti milanesi, e Cesare Pallavicino che era stato il direttore tecnico prima della Breda fino al 1935 e poi della Caproni, che si occupò del telaio e del design. Nel 1947 lo scooter, battezzato Lambretta dall'artista Daniele Oppi, è pronto e viene lanciato sul mercato. L'enorme successo non solo nazionale fece sì che la Lambretta, nei quasi 25 anni di produzione, venisse costruita su licenza anche in Germania (dalla NSU), Gran Bretagna, Argentina, Brasile, Cile, India e Spagna. La Innocenti produsse, sulla base della meccanica dello scooter, anche una serie di motocarri che, inizialmente denominati anch'essi Lambretta, ebbero poi il nome di Lambro. Con il boom economico in Europa occidentale, verso la fine degli anni sessanta la richiesta degli scooters ebbe un calo, mentre l'automobile era ormai alla portata di tutti; la Innocenti dovette quindi lottare per sopravvivere finanziariamente. La British Motor Corporation (BMC) approfittò delle difficoltà finanziarie della Innocenti e nel 1959, considerando la sua esperienza di produzione le propose un contratto per produrre, su licenza, una berlina dell'Austin di 900 cm³ di cilindrata, la A40, con molti componenti forniti dalla stessa BMC. L'Innocenti utilizzò poi il telaio A40 per produrre uno spyder carrozzato da Ghia. Successivamente vennero prodotte anche altre automobili, sempre su licenza BMC: la IM3 (Innocenti Morris 3), la I4 (una IM3 più spartana ed economica) e la Mini Minor, ma anche con queste altre azioni di mercato l'azienda chiuse la produzione nel 1971. Il governo indiano comprò la catena di montaggio della Lambretta nel 1972, essenzialmente per le stesse ragioni per cui Ferdinando Innocenti l'aveva costruita dopo la guerra: l'India all'epoca era un Paese con poche infrastrutture e non era ancora pronta economicamente per produrre piccole automobili dedicate al trasporto privato. La SIL (Scooters of India Limited), con sede a Lucknow nell'Uttar Pradesh, fu l'impresa di proprietà statale che cominciò la produzione un paio d'anni dopo l'acquisto, continuando la costruzione della Lambretta originale sino al 1997. Come la Vespa, anche la Lambretta aveva un motore a 2 tempi funzionante a miscela olio-benzina, 3 o 4 marce, con una cilindrata che variava dai 39 ai 198 cm³.
Diversamente dalla Vespa, che è stata costruita con un telaio costituito da un solo pezzo, la Lambretta aveva una struttura tubolare più rigida su cui veniva assemblata la carrozzeria. I primi modelli prodotti presentavano la caratteristica della carrozzeria scoperta, distinguendosi quindi totalmente dalla Vespa (totalmente carenata), diventando il tipico segno di riconoscimento dello scooter milanese. Comunque i successivi modelli prodotti.
