The Plaza Premium Arrival lounge Hong Kong is a great place to freshen up after the long flights from Europe or over the Pacific. There is a decent buffet dining area with good breakfasts in the mornings, and a lot of shower suites. There is also a cash bar.

We love travel days! Today we said farewell to Hong Kong and hopped on a Hong Kong Express flight to one of our favorite cities in the world—Chiang Mai, Thailand! We used our Priority Pass to get free access to the Plaza Premium Arrival Lounge where we had a full Chinese feast, then flew direct to Thailand and grabbed our first bite of Thai street food. We first travelled to Chiang Mai 3 years ago and are so happy to be back in the Land of Smiles. :)

Plaza Premium Lounge (Arrivals, Terminal 2)
This is the world's first arrival lounge. This lounge facility is designed specifically for travellers arriving into the Hong Kong International Airport.
Located directly after the arrival hall, the facility offers a spectrum of services and equipments to enable our guests to rest and relax while at the airport. You can enjoy business centre facilities, internet work stations what are Wi-Fi enabled, comfortable seating, shower facilities, a la carte food, private resting area, massage and spa service, and a great selection of international cuisine.
The lounge is designed to cater to arriving travellers who may need a place to refresh ahead of going into the city. This is also ideal for guests who arrive early and cannot check in to their hotel or guests who require a space to work.

Located on the Mezzanine Floor of International Departures at Phnom Penh International Airport, the new Plaza Premium Lounge in Phnom Penh was officially open on 11 January 2016. It is a premium facility at the newly expanded airport terminal that offers travellers a tranquil and comfortable environment to relax ahead of their flight.

Eating at Cantonese foods at Plaza Premium Lounge (Hong Kong)
Plaza Premium Lounge (Hong Kong) near Gate 1.
The lounge is modern, sleek, clean.
The food assortment consisted mostly of Chinese food. There were also some international foods such as pizza. Another video showing the lounge and food selections should be posted soon. This video focuses on eating the three foods/drinks described below. ;)
I focused on eating less foods less commonly available in Canada/USA.
1- rice vermicelli noodle soup. It was prepared on demand at the noodle bar by a very nice lady named Mong. The options included thin and wider (ho fun/河粉) rice noodles. Fish balls, fish tofu. AMAZING, DELICIOUS, flavourful fish broth (cooked on premise, I seem to understand) that had a nice white pepper taste. A vegetarian soup was also available.
There was also an assortment of condiments for the soup, including XO sauce with dried shrimps. The XO sauce was simply fantastic.
[While noodle soups are available pretty much everywhere, few would contain sure premium soup. The soup was AMAZING, but I know I repeating myself.]
2- The dessert soup was 杞子紅棗桂圓茶. It consists in a soupy concoction that includes goji berries, red dates, longan. It was so soothing.
3- Hong-Kong style milk tea (港式奶茶). It was creamy and strong. So flavourful!
I ate three bowls of the noodle soup, three bowls of dessert soup, and capped it off with a delicious milk tea. I wanted to stay and eat forever in this lounge!
Bonus: at the check-in counter of the lounge, there was a jar of SUGUS candies!
Final verdict: if you get a chance to go to this lounge, I would tell you go to there, WITHOUT hesitation. I will forever remember my food experience there.
HKG: Hong Kong Cathay Pacific The Bridge Lounge

The Hong Kong Cathay Pacific The Bridge Lounge is great. It is split in two parts: turn left for the Coffee Loft and the IT Zone, or turn right for the Bakery and the Long Bar. There are plenty of very good seats in the Hong Kong Bridge Lounge: indeed, the atmosphere says more 'home' than 'business. It is also lovely and quiet compared to many of the lounges at the airport.
