Port Colborne is a city on Lake Erie, at the southern end of the Welland Canal, in the Niagara Region of southern Ontario, Canada. The original settlement, known as Gravelly Bay, dates from 1832 and was renamed after Sir John Colborne, a British war hero and the Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada at the time of the opening of the southern terminus of the First Welland Canal in 1833.

enjoying bay beach sandy shores along lake erie, doing a tour of the beach and all the fun things to do in crystal beach and ridgeway (a 2 min drive east of the shops on Erie Rd to RidgewayRd to Dominion Rd to Ridge Rd N and S for more shopping, restaurants, couture, mad capps hats (custom designs one of kind hats all seasons - beach shop innertubes, toys, summer fashions jewelry, designer purses retail shopping)
erie Rd at Schooley Rd is the bus stop or anywhere towards ridgeway rd,

fort Erie Transit:
Monday through Saturday (6:30 a.m. -- 7:30 p.m.)

fort erie transit route map to jarvis st (downtown towards niagara pkwy peace bridge, niagara river trail (connecting lakeshore from windsor , fort erie, niagara falls, niagara on the lake to quebec - cycling route ) to crystal beach (bay beach, ridgeway, downtown crystal beach shops, mad capp hats, restaurants, shops, the boutique theater, friendship trail)

buses run every 60 mins. you would get off the niagara regional bus at walmart and catch the fort erie transit to crystal beach (about a 30 min ride from walmart)

tourism niagara region

get off at Erie Rd by Bay Beach or ride into Ridgeway and walk back towards the beach after eating or shopping!

a good assortment of restaurants here all with home cooked meals and different flavors to tempt all kinds of palettes.
