Point Addis Marine National Park
Better known for the waves at Bells Beach (located inside the park) than its underwater life this clip takes you on a dive below the surface of Point Addis Marine National Park on Victoria’s west coast. The clip includes some of the magnificent kelp forests, rocky reefs and sponge gardens that are features of this surf-charged high energy park that has been fully protected since 2002. The clip features a range of marine species including many Southern Rock Lobsters that have thrived in the absence of fishing, colourful Blue Devil Fish, and the magnificent Weedy Seadragon, Victoria’ s marine state emblem.

The Point Addis Marine National Park is a protected marine national park located near Anglesea on the Surf Coast region of Victoria, Australia.The 4,600-hectare marine park extends along 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) of coastline east of Anglesea, around Point Addis to the eastern end of Bells Beach and offshore 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) to the limit of Victorian waters.

Point Addis - Surf Coast Trail, Victoria Australia
Check out the spectacular Point Addis, on the Victorian Surf Coast. Towering cliffs, lush bushland and sparkling blue waters collide in the heart of the Great Otway National Park. Follow the Koorie Cultural Walk up to this stunning lookout (2km return), then head down to the beach for a quick dip. The Victorian Surf Coast is also home to many interesting creatures so walk quietly and you could come across lizards, snakes, echidnas, wallabies, kangaroos and a variety of birds. What a great way to start the day!

point Addis and great ocean road. i was trying to stop myself from riding the wave into a sand bank and abandoned my boogie board and it was pulled with the wave dislocating my shoulder had a arm strap . i originally dislocated it skydiving once before .was rushed off to Torquay medical center almost passed out as doc poped it back
