Is Mexico City rich?
We visited the stunning neighborhood of Polanco in Mexico City! As soon as we arrived to what is sometimes known as the Mexican Beverly Hills, we knew this place was different to anywhere we've ever been. Mexico City is beautiful with some historic french style mansions, here in Polanco, these are even more luxurious. Speaking of luxury, we saw the definition of this once we made it to to the main road called Presidente Masaryk. I had never seen so many luxury and high fashion shopping and dining options in one area. Every block was dense with things we can't afford. Once again, Mexico has shown us why the media is so misleading in their coverage, never have we ever seen this rich side of Mexico get any sort of representation.

In this video I take a walk around Polanco and visit some of the best places to visit in Polanco, from the Museo Soumaya, an awesome art gallery with amazing architecture, local high end shopping malls (a Prada on each floor!), an incredible church and most of all, give you an idea of the daily life of the locals, driving their Mercedes, Audis and BMWs around this awesome area!

Enjoy this walk in the Polanco area of Mexico City CDMX. I start from the Miyana Shopping Mall and travel on Av Moliere, Avenida Homero, Avenida Horacio, Av. Pdte. Masaryk, and end at Lincoln Park.

Polanco is the main urban upscale district in Mexico City, part of the Miguel Hidalgo borough, located north of Chapultepec Park and consisting of five official neighborhoods (colonias).
Polanco is often called the Beverly Hills of Mexico City. Indeed it is home to the city's densest concentration of upscale shopping, hotels and restaurants, embassies, high-end car dealerships and home furnishings shops, many of the city's most important museums, and together with adjacent Nuevo Polanco, Mexican headquarters of many multinational companies. As a residential area, the neighborhood is culturally diverse, and many super-rich, politicians, celebrities, artists and businessmen call the area home.
The street names of Polanco incorporate an eclectic mix of the world's philosophers, writers, scientists and even a Czech president: Avenida Presidente Masaryk, a street with some of the highest rents and most upscale boutiques in Latin America. Latin America's largest department store is located in Polanco as well as six shopping malls.

Hi amigos! Sorry for being late. I am in Oaxaca joining the Guelaguetaz festival and having a little Mexican family time with lots of love. In this episode, let's go to Polanco, the riches neighbourhood in Mexico City. The reason is because last time when I was in Zona Rosa, I saw El Péndulo bookstore. I thought that was the one featured in Guardian UK magazine as one of the best bookshops in the world. Later, I found out that the one that they mentioned was in Polanco. I feel so guilty and want to correct my mistake. They are both very beautiful with similar deco. The size in the Polanco branch is bigger while the Zone Rosa branch has live music at night.
After that, I walked along Polanco which is surrounded by luxury brands. I am not too interested about those brands. But the neighbourhood was very interesting to look at. I found a photo spot! Museo Soumaya and Mueso Jumex are on the other side of this region. I also found a hugh and modern shopping mall next to them.
