GINA L sailing south of Milos
One of our yachts GINA L. is sailing on the south side of Milos towards the bay of Provatas. The medium force north winds in combination with the absence of waves help sail fast in this part of the island. In this ocassion GINA L reached almost 9knots of speed!!!
Polco underwater fun!
Polco cruises are fun!!! We like the sea, sailing it, swimming in it, diving from rocks, the boat... the list goes on! And to keep our memories alive we have underwater cameras in our boat to capture these nice moments!

Sailing around Milos Island Greece
One of the best part of our honeymoon was sailing around Milos Island Greece for 12 hours. Milos island has so many beaches and some are not accessible by foot or car that sailing around the island is the best way to see all of them. Another way is to rent preferably an ATV and stop at a beach enjoy and move on to the next beach. If you missed the last video we did just that. I would recommend going sailing first so you can see every beach and have a guide explain and recommend some areas. Figure out which beach stood out the most or ones you didn't get to swim in yet then rent the ATV. You can cover about 2-3 beaches a day without feeling too warn out.
Positive Vibes We made some friends from Brazil on the boat which added to the experience. There were people from all over the world and lots of languages. Traveling with a group also helps when you want pictures without doing selfie and not to mention interesting conversation if you can find someone that speaks your language. We had about 10-12 people on the ship and most spoke english. Most were nice and open to conversation. Even the captain who I felt was being dismissive was a complete different person half way through the trip. I think there was some personal bias he had to let go of once he got to know us and he was extra accommodating after that.
Picking the right Trip There's a lot of options for sailing trips leaving from Adamas port and we had a hard time picking which one. All the ships dock at Adamas port in the evening or early morning. They have brochure and a representative from the company to answer any questions and book your trip. Each ship offers something extra and different style of trips and different vibes. I would recommend grabbing lunch at one of the awesome restaurants across from the port in the evening or early morning and watch the boat and the people and see which one looks more fun. Some of the boats do shoots and start drinking and socializing before you disembark. Others have light breakfast before you leave and a chance to connect with the people. Some have less people so you have more leg room to relax. Most include food, drinks, and snacks but sometimes it's not included in price. Some offer extra perks like GoPro and snorkeling equipment. Not all the companies go around the whole island and some have different stops then other so if you're like me you will want time to figure out which one has the best combination of desired stops and perks.
Don't waste time online Don't waste your time planning from abroad with this one. I wanted to plan from home and I was sure they would have the option online and some do but they are often the expensive and not always the best. I would recommend waiting until you get to Milos to talk to different companies and get a chance to observe then book, it will save you a lot of money.
Overall Milos is our favorite island so far, we defiantly plan on going back again soon. Next time we will defiantly allocate more then 4 days. There's lots to do and explore we would need at least a week or so. Next time we will take a day trip to Ios which is another island close to Milos but completely different.
