BBQ On The Shore of Senezh Lake. Real Russia ep.49
Last weekend together with our friends Maxim Chepkasov (project manager of Real Russia), Kir Abakumov (journalist at Moscow 24 TV channel) and Ekaterina Kanaeva (bank worker) we went to the shore of Senezh Lake. This is just in 50km from Moscow, Russia and opened barbeque season.
In the store we purchased pork meat specially prepared for barbeque, tomatoes, cucumbers, beer, kvas, green onion, ketchup and bread. Never forgot plastic plates, spoons and forks as well. In total we spent 3000 Russian Roubles (100 United States Dollars) for all of that.
To entertain ourselve, of course, we never forgot the guitar. And some of the songs we played there you'll be able to hear in this video.
This video is one of the examples of how people in Russia making barbeque picnics.

At the 28th of February, 2015 we came to film the All Russia 24-hours Torch of Polar Bears of Russia dedicated to the 70-Years Anniversary of the Victory in a World War II.
More than 200 walruses (that's how we call polar bears) from 20 regions of Russia came to the city of Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan Republic of Russia that to participate in this Torch. But besides Ufa, the Torch like this also went in many other cities of Russia.
We came just to film and show about it, but suddenly became a participants ourselves.
It was pretty amazing experience to make a 50-meters swim through the freezing cold water in a hole of the Soldier's Lake in the Park of Ivan Yakutov.
Then to warm up in a mobile bath house right inside of the truck and finally to drink a tea deep inside of Polar Bears Club of Ufa, Russia.
