The sun was out, and the first swell in a while, so lots of surfers out grabbing what they could.
Medium waves, but pretty clean.

Polzeath The Perfect Storm
This is a new version of a video I made on the night of 10th March 2008. It was the combo of 60 mph onshore winds, 30ft surf and big spring tides that made this such a one off! It was the perfect storm.

Cornwall Huge Winter Storm (HD) - 100ft waves
February 1st 2014 and another huge swell batters the coast of Cornwall, less than a month after the much heralded Hercules storm system.
Whilst this storm received non of the fanfare of Hercules it was just as dramatic as it slammed into the coast of West Cornwall.
This footage was shot at Porthcurno beach, Land's End and Sennen Cove - some of the most exposed spots in Mainland Britain.
