The nearest airport to Ponmudi is Trivandrum international airport at a distance of about 62 km. It takes about an hour and a half from Thiruvanthapuram to reach Ponmudi.Besides the breathtaking beauty of the Ponmudi Hills, some other places that you can visit out here are the Meenmutti waterfalls at Kallar(on the way to ponmudi from trivandrum), Agasthyarkoodam -- the second highest peak in Kerala, , the Agasthya Vanam Biologial Park, the beautiful and picturesque Golden Valley,tea, coffee and rubber plantations and many more.

We, theeraulaa team took a ride from Kollam to Ponmudi to enjoy the cold climate in the hillstation just a day before the new year.

Ponmudi is a hill station is in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala. We started off our journey to Ponmudi from Kundara, kollam. It was 89km from our destination to Ponmudi.
On our way we discovered an amazing place called cheppanchira, a place still untouched my tourist. We further moved towards the enchanting Ponmudi.
The main Speciality of Ponmudi Hills is 22 hair pin curves /bends where each hairpin bend gave us a surprisingly beautiful landscape varying from lush green forest, beautiful array of mountains, tea plantations and grass lands. Words are not enough to experience the beauty of this picturesque land.. So I created a video for you all. It's your turn now to experience this amazing land.
