Penistone - Terry's Camp 2001 Pooley Bridge Ullswater - 2 Pony Trek
Some of our friends set off on a pony trek at an outward bound centre close to our camp site. The girl gives instructions etc. Copied from VHS This was organised and supervised by several responsible adults with parental approval of anyone under 18. It should be noted that this was a private holiday and did not involve any local authority
A Camping Trip to The Lake District. Parkfoot, Pooley Bridge.
As some of you already know, I have been away camping in the Lake District. (Sorry about the quality of the last live vid)
I went away for four days with Paula, Paula's brother Toma and his daughter Amie.
We arrived on thursday afternoon at Parkfoot campsite in Pooley Bridge on the banks of Lake Ullswater and quickly pitched the tent and took a quick look around the campsite and had a few beverages before hitting the sack..
Day 2 consisted of a little walk round Pooley Bridge and a trip to Aira Force waterfall, which was stunning. After that was a BBQ and some more beer :)
Day 3 we had a flying visit to Keswick.
Day 4 Paula and Amie went horse riding, while we sat in the tent for a while.
We left on the bank holiday monday morning and was back to reality via the Hartside Cafe, which used to be the highest cafe in England, with a hieght of nearly 2000m above sea level, and was unfortunately burnt to the ground last year.
Thanks for watching, and reading this far, if you have..:)
Cheers.

Sychnant Pass Country House North Wales - MotorBike Adventures Of Britain Biker Friendly
Welcome to Sychnant Pass Country House set in three acres of landscaped gardens on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.
Framed by some of the most beautiful and dramatic scenery Wales has to offer, our privately owned country house has the feel of a remote rural hideaway and yet is just a short drive from the main A55 making it easily accessible all year round.
Park Foot Camp Site, Ullswater, Cumbria
Filmed by divers for divers. A less than perfect day for filming Video, but with interesting dive banter. The Park Foot Camp Site is near opposite Pooley Bridge Pier.

Ullswater Steamer, Raven for a fun day out
The first reported Steamer on Ullswater dates back to 1859 and there has been a ferry service on this lake since then. Ullswater is the home to M.Y. Raven, still in service working for Ullswarter Steamers. Launched on the 16th July 1889, her arrival was directly inspired by the tour operator Thomas Cook who voiced his concerns to the Directors about the need for a second vessel during the peak holiday season. This was long before the formation of the Lake District National Park. He knew about a good day out and what tourists want and these values are the same today as they were then.
This video travels the lake from Glenridding, Howtown and Pooley Bridge, a Lake cruise on England’s most beautiful lake. This area is a walkers paradise and these boats are the best way to travel if you want adventure, history to experience nature and culture. Or if you want a destination where climbing to the top of a mountain is your ideal, you can first cruise to Howtown and start your trek from there. Ullswater Steamers, tourism at its best and a fun day out for all the family.
