Me and my friend decided to walk around in Dublin, and since we had a sunny day, we went to Poolbeg Lighthouse and just goof around making a video. It takes around 1 hour walking, and you can enjoy the great views. Good for a Sunday walk, and since we saw so many people there, we arent the only ones to think this.

Poolbeg Lighthouse - Dublin, Ireland
Today we take a trip down to Sandymount in Dublin 4 to visit the Poolbeg lighthouse in the Dublin Bay. It's a wonderful walk, with some great views, but the weather was certainly less than ideal.

Poolbeg Lighthouse in the Port of Dublin
Dublin's Poolbeg lighthouse is along the Great South Wall, extending well into Dublin Bay. The first part of the wall was built back in 1707 and there has been a lighthouse out here since 1786. The current iteration, more than 4km off the natural peninsula, has been there for nearly 200 years.
These images were mostly shot from a DJI Mavic Pro Platinum in strong onshore wind.
#Bull Island & Poolbeg Lighthouse, Dublin - Ireland ????????
Poolbeg Lighthouse in Dublin Bay was built in 1768 and initially operated on candlepower[citation needed] (reputedly the first in the world to do so) but changed to oil in 1786. It was re-designed and re-built into its present form in 1820.
The lighthouse, one of a formation of three, is located on the Great South Wall (South Bull Wall), at the Port of Dublin, which extends from Ringsend's Poolbeg peninsula nearly four miles out into Dublin Bay. The wall was the world's longest at the time of its building, and remains one of the longest sea-walls in Europe. One of the other two lighthouses is located on the Bull Wall opposite, and the other on a wooden platform mid-channel.
The Poolbeg Lighthouse is a handsome and conspicuous feature in the bay, in which it occupies an almost central position. It is nearly equidistant from Dublin, Dún Laoghaire, and Howth, and commands extensive views of the shores of the bay, with an unbroken panorama of the mountains on the south. Howth with its heather-clad hills, its bright green fields and rugged reaches of sea cliffs, looks particularly attractive from this point.

207m Chimney Climb | Dublin, Ireland
*Climbing the famous Poolbeg Chimneys* I was on a trip to Ireland and I went to Dublin. I wanted to visit this amazing place and climb the famous chimneys in Dublin. I went out to the old and abandoned place one day, climbed over fences, jumped over walls and explored this awesome place. The scenery was amazing and I will never forget it. It took me a while to get up the 200meter chimney and I was concerned about getting busted because I did it an afternoon. I could easily be seen whilst I was climbing. The chimneys are not in use, but there is another part of the area which is. So there were security guards out there. I performed the climb without the use of safety equipment of any kind. - Oliver
