Mind blowing marine life in the Poor Knights Marine Reserve NZ (mini clip)
A short and sweet little clip of some of the go pro footage we captured at the poor knights marine reserve in NZ this week. We have taken some time off video editing lately to concentrate on boat maintenance, work to save some pennies and take a little break to enjoy NZ without cameras. However this was just too special not to share. Being able to access unique places that you can only get to by water is part of what makes the Roam adventure so special. We had the pleasure of taking our new Crew members Sam and Estelle, to the poor knights Islands marine reserve where we anchored over night and were lucky to have some nice conditions for a spot of free diving. A very different experience to the snorkeling scenery in the tropics with cold water fish species, soft corals and kelps. The abundance of sea life in these protected waters is something really special. It clearly shows what the oceans would be like without human impact. Hope you enjoy - Liss

WILD SEALS at Poor Knights Islands | REBELZ LOG 22
An adventure of a lifetime! On our last stop in the region of Northland, we stayed at an amazing place near the coast called Tutukaka. There we went stand-up paddle boarding for the first time. Poor Knights Islands in 4K - Living a Kiwi Life - Ep. 50
Poor Knights Islands are New Zealand's best known scuba diving site. The place is literally crawling with marine life. We swam through a cave with fish streaming through it and saw lots of different species along with some eels and stingrays! We did this trip with Dive Tutukaka and they were awesome. Diving New Zealand | Poor Knights Marine Reserve
Saying goodbye to these guys on the surface is going to be hard but under the water is even harder, I feel like I have had an impact on everything they do underwater from teaching abilities to buoyancy control and awareness. Its been a story to tell, especially for them, they will be talking about this course for years to come and hope they speak fondly of all the people who trained them lol. DIPSI 2 it has been a pleasure and I hope in the near future I get to dive with you all again #Farewell #PADI #Instructors #Sidemount #PoorKnights #BestJobEver #Graduation
I big shout out to Ryan to who completed his Sidemount and Self Reliant instructor training today, just Matt and Charlie to go on friday in the lake lol

Diving New Zealand | The Poor Knights
PADI Womens Dive Day out at the Poor Knights with Yukon Dive. I escaped Auckland for the weekend to dive the Poor Knights with a group of New Zealands women divers. 3 hours north of Auckland is Tutukaka, a hub for divers to congregate in New Zealand and experience world class diving.
The Poor Knights has hundreds of dive sites with most unlimited depth and crystal clear waters. The worlds largest sea cave is just one of the attractions in amongst all the arch ways and cave systems this marine reserve has to offer.
If you are looking for world class diving in New Zealand then look no further. #PADI #WomensDiveDay

Perfect Day at the Poor Knights Islands Marine Reserve
Our very special day-trip, Perfect Day offers the ultimate non-diving Poor Knights Islands experience, with sight-seeing, kayaking, cave explorations, snorkeling, swimming, sea mammal-spotting, snippets of fascinating history and Island facts and great food. The boat is incredibly well fitted-out, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, upstairs viewing, plenty of facilities and the fabulous fish cam feeding live underwater shots right into the boat. Leaves Tutukaka Daily from November first through to May first.
