Essence Snow Trip 2014 - Morzine, France

27 friends from Essence's London office headed to Morzine, France for a long weekend. Skiing, boarding, drinking, laughing, gin, boots, yoga and aeroplane near-death experiences all led to 4 of the best days ever.

2010 Avoriaz Snowboard Holiday

After my first 6 days of Ski Holiday/Lesson during Christmas 2019, I just couldn't stay away from the alps...so, taadaa!!! I flew back to Morzine a week later; this time, with my husband. Yes, back on the same slopes (green and blue routes) coz I loved it that much. kekeke.

Unlike the first one, this holiday was much more well planned with regards to the cost of the entire trip, including rental of ski equipment and ski passes etc. Additionally, we stayed at Hotel Le Grand Tetras located in Morzine town, which is within walking distance to the ski lift/gondola of Le Pleney, Super Morzine and Avoriaz. And needless to say, it was really convenient to simply pop in to the pharmacy/shops/supermarket etc in town, whenever.

I don't want to say that we had a hard day skiing, but.... starting in Les Gets, thru Morazine, up to Avoriaz, down thru Lindarets and up to Plan Dranse, up and down Combes, and eventually down Linga into Chatel, then back, a quick lunch, a run down Combe du Machon in Avoriaz, down thru Prodains back up to Les Gets and stop in the Pub for quick half-liter of Rua....
