La Union or Elyu to millennial.
So, ang nangyari ang aming first stop_ Macho Temple, a Taoist Temple dedicated to Mazu na isang sea goddess. Instagrammable! Free entrance free parking. :)
Second stop_Thunderbird Resort it’s too early for lunch kaya inuna na namin.
Fourth stop_Urbiztondo Beach. Tuloy na kami sa accommodation, a day before kasi nakakuha na kami ng transient room. 500/head air-con + free wi-fi. 5min. walk to beach. After namin kumain (may baon kami for lunch. See!?
Surfing Time!... 350/surfing board with surfing instructor for one hour.
Food Trip!... Una namin pinuntahan ang Surf Shack tinikman namin ang Mommy Lu’s Gourmet Tuyo pizza at Corn Nachos with Salsa? Not sure about the name pero parang ganun.
DAY 2. Biyahe namin Luna at San Gabriel, La Union
Free parking Environmental fee 20/head.

La Union Philippines 2019 - Travel Vlog - 2 Days 1 Night Itinerary - DJI Spark - Samsung Note 9
La Union is a destination for travellers who loved to surf, eat, explore historic temples and landmarks.
Plan your trip with this list of tourist spots and best locations in La Union.
Starting with San Fernando, La Union’s capital city.
We headed straight to Halo Halo de Iloko before it gets crowded due to their famous and delicios Halo Halo.
Ilocano Bagnet is the best here and anywhere in La Union and Ilocos.
Ofcourse we tried their famous Halo Halo with its fresh fruits and there's creamy coconut milk that makes it different along with other Halo Halo in Metro Manila and other provinces.
Ma Cho Temple San Fernando La Union
The biggest Taoist temple in the Philippines.
You will have the gourgeous view of the temple and West Philipine Sea.
Please follow the rules and show some respect by not wearing shorts and sandals inside. Be quiet at all times.
Poro Point Lighthouse
This old lighthouse is is the back of Thunderbird Resort and Poro Point Baywalk.
Good for photoshoot for pre-nup or debut.
We headed North to the town of Luna.
We visited Heneral Anthonio Luna's Statue.
A hundred meters away is the Half-Old Half-Modern Luna Baluarte or Baluarte Watchtower stand along the pebble beach.
The Baluarte Watchtower served as a solution to the frequent attack of the pirates during Spanish period in the Philippines.
The fortress was used to warn its residencts againts the looters.
Also it provides a great view of West Philippines Sea with unlimited pebbles.
Unfortunately, Bahay Na Bato was closed during our trip.
We booked our accomodation at Puerto De San Juan.
Puerto de San Juan Beach Resort Hotel is an affordable beach resort and hotel destination in San Juan, La Union.
The hotel, furniture, and room are a bit old but decent enough for sleep over.
After our fast check-in, we unwind in the afternoon at the beach, took drone shots, and most importantly, enjoyed viewing the breathtaking sunset with family and friends.
They have lifeguards beside the beach and pool.
Enjoy touring around the spacious ground or visit the Chapel.
It has 3 swimming pools, wide cottages (concrete cottage) with sink and grilling station, and spacious parking space.
A boutique where you can buy swimwear and souvenirs.
They have Bar & Grill Restaurant to fill your tummy with satisfying meals and snacks for dinner and breakfast.
On the next day, after our breakfast and check-out at Puerto De San Juan, we took our lunch at Tagpuan Urbiztondo La Union, unfortunately their famous bagnet is not available on the day we visited. But, their adobo and pares are delicious too. That day was very hot, so we do not recommend to dine lunch here during summer. Also, they don't have a parking space. We park our car on the other side of the street.
Before going home, we headed to a Grape Picking in Buang La Union
Lomboy Grape Farm to grab some pasalubong for our family and friends. They will let you go on a grape picking and farm tour.
The local grapes has seeds and kinda sour.
Getting to La Union is now easy with the use of expressway NLEX, SCTEX, and TPLEX. The roads are smooth even if the places are rural.
Thanks for watching!
