THE MOST SECRET HIKE IN NZ // One day Westcoast
Today I spend my day at the Westcoast of the South Island. My Airbnb host showed me on a map a very secret hike to the Mt George summit which was really incredible.
I also visited the Pancake-Rocks, Blue-Holes, Paparoa National Park, Truman Track and the Pororari River Track.
I would definitely recommend all those things to visit on the Westcoast.
I stayed in Greymouth and everything was reachable within a day trip!

Gun Boat rock on the Pororari River at Punakaiki
Did you take that first plunge into the unknown off Gun Boat rock on the Pororari River at Punakaiki ?
I though a look to see just how big and high it was would be good.
As always there was a couple of family's sunbathing with the kids playing in the river.
Inland Packtrack day walk
One of the prettiest walks in New Zealand. In Paparoa National Park. Some people choose to camp overnight but it can be walked easily in a day. It traverses several river catchments and includes wonderful limestone gorges. It should only be done when the rivers are running low.
