The Club was expanded over the No. 1 bowling green to include a new foyer and entrance area, relocation of the gaming machines, a new café and bar and new childrens' play area overlooking the bowling green.

In the last 80 years we have seen a lot of changes, renovations & beautiful occasions. Despite these transformations Port City Bowling Club proudly remains the only locally owned club in Port Macquarie CBD & has the largest active bowling membership of any bowling club in the Mid North Coast. 12th Annual Mayor's Sporting Fund Pycon Homes Bowls Day
Now in its 12th year, the event held at Port City Bowling Club raises money for the Mayor’s Sporting Fund. The annual Bowls Day Challenge is a great way for community groups and local businesses to get together for a fun afternoon whilst raising funds to assist local athletes. Great prizes are up for grabs in a number of novelty events including the best dressed team, best looking toes and fanciest feet.
The event is supported by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, Triple M & Hits FM, Prime7, Port Macquarie News and Express & Wauchope Sports & Trophies.
Since the Mayor’s Sporting Fund’s inception back in 1999, over $300,000 has been raised and distributed to young local athletes of the Port Macquarie-Hastings to assist them to compete at elite sporting events, with some local athletes going on to represent Australia.
2018 World's Greatest Shave at Port City Bowling Club
On March 10th 2018 Port City Bowling Club teamed up with incredible individuals from our local community to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation to beat blood cancer. We shaved, coloured our glorious hair all for the World's Greatest Shave. 2018 Hastings Relay For Life Launch Party
On the 9th of February Port City Bowling Club were proud hosts of the barefoot bowls launch party for the 2018 Hastings Relay For Life. Over 100 local Hastings residents ditched their daily attire & channeled their inner superhero to support this amazing cause.
