Port Hawkesbury Community Park Grand Opening September 14 2013
Build Day at the Port Hawkesbury Community Park supported by Let Them Be Kids - September 14, 2013. Over 300 volunteers showed up to complete the first phase of the park. Here's the opening ceremony and park dedication.

The Port Hawkesbury store and Giant Tiger Stores Limited celebrated a $5,000 donation to the Port Hawkesbury Community Park. The park is an accessible, safe, community based park for this generation and future generations of families to enjoy. Store staff alongside members of the community spent the day laying sod at the playground and enjoyed a community barbeque provided by Giant Tiger.
As part of our Canada 150 celebration Giant Tiger has partnered with local organizations across Canada to make a big difference in the communities we call home. Cape Breton - Richmond MLA Michel Samson - Minister of Economic Development announced $54 500 for a splash pad for the Port Hawkesbury Community Park on July 11, 2014. There was also funding for the following:
East Richmond Riders Association - $43 000
Ben Eoin Recreation - $36 000 —

Over 100 students from cities across Canada were selected to carry the Torch Of Life in their community. Their tasks also included public speaking, media interviews and photo ops with dignitaries. These were students that Kristopher Knowles inspired during his campaign. They were part of his army and part of the vision that Pope John Paul 2 passed on to George Marcello during the Canada 769 Day Walk. These Students were organ & tissue ambassadors, they were the SOS4000 Student Torch Champions and the passionate voice for an entire nation. They also set the stage for future countries to do this kind of campaign; thus SOS THE AMERICAS. His Honour Ontario Lieutenant Governor David Onley wanted to hear about every Student Torch Champion and received the following dairy from as Mr. Marcello As he was going from Community to Community Mr. Marcello would send his dairy to his Honour on a weekly basis.

Dr Abidi, in this interview talks about the Land Developments Projects of ZNB Builders Canada. He articulates the primacy of economic uplift in laying foundations of community building on Islamic principles. He further elaborates upon a tradition of Holy Prophet PBUH who emphasize the holistic nature of human development by saying that one whose economic affairs are not properly managed in this world, would not have a good life in the hereafter'. He greatly appreciates the good work of the team in plans of the acquisition of the land. These projects and plans are of good public interest. He also mention the potential economic revolution message for the community and whoever willing to participate in this drive.
