The following is what is happening now based on my research on the internet...
Comet Ison has recently crashed through the Asteroid Belt and passed by Mars and the Earth.
Comet Ison has just left a trail of asteroids behind it. Some small, some possibly as big as buildings.
It is likely that several of these asteroids have been sent into our direction. If they miss us during their first pass around they sun they will have several other opportunities to collide with us in future orbits.
One source has explained that on December the 8th the Earth will enter directly into this trail of asteroids the comet has left behind it.
It is likely that we are starting to become hit by some of these rocks and ice now.
Google it.

A glimpse of the moon | CSIRO Dish NSW | 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11 Moon Landing
#ParkesNSW #TheDish #CSIROdishNSW #Apollo11 #moonlanding
In 1969 Parkes Radio Telescope, “The Dish”, played an important role in history. This year we mark the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.
The Dish not only helped track the spacecraft to the moon and back but also helped bring you the footage of astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the moon.
The actual footage of man’s first step on the moon was received by the telescopes at Honeysuckle Creek Tracking Station, which was just outside of Canberra, Australia. 9 minutes later The Dish took over coverage.
Enjoy our trip to Parkes CSIRO Radio Telescope…
Parkes is in central New South Wales.
To get to the Dish it is only a 20 minute drive north from the centre of Parkes.
A pleasant drive through farmland, traffic is normally minimal, so you won’t have any worries getting there. And as we found out – parking is not a problem.
Weather in winter is cold and in summer can get very hot, so depending on when you come, be prepared.
The visitors centre has the gift shop, takes you through the history of the Parkes radio telescope, the missions it has supported and the vital role it continues to play in the world of astronomy.
Outside you can of course see ‘The Dish’, but there are only certain days when they allow you to actually enter the dish and see inside. There are staff on hand to help you look up at the sky to look more closely at the moon and on this occasion we also got to see Venus in the daylight.
Not forgetting, there is an excellent café for a nice warm coffee or hot chocolate to help warm your hands.
And, one little oddity not to miss is the apple tree out front of the visitors centre. This tree is a graft – well a graft of a graft - from the original apple tree which inspired Sir Isaac Newton’s theory of Gravity.
