This show is a juxtaposition of small paintings completed outdoors and larger expressive abstracts. The smaller on location paintings are what inform the larger works where details of subject are diminished and emotional brushwork and abstract elements predominate. The show also includes videos of Jane painting on location in the Lower Mainland.
The Show runs until May 4th, 2017.

2009 Wearable Art Awards: Port Moody, BC
Presented by the Port Moody Arts Centre Society, the Wearable Art Awards encourage local, Canadian and international artists of all mediums to submit evocative, imaginative and thought provoking creations for the human body. The works are juried in a three-step process: initially by electronic submissions then by a panel of jurors drawn from the fashion and textile industry. Each piece is examined for its creativity, originality, skill in construction and conceptual idea. The final jurying takes place by the same panel of judges at the performance presentation.
