On the second day of #DiscoverEC tour, we took a leisurely cruise through the unique and picturesque St Francis Canals with its eye-catching architecture, design and superb system of waterways as we head to The Bat and Boereboon private farm house. Enjoy!
St Francis Bay: Sinking of Sikelela Chokka Boat at Port St Francis. 27-8-14. Linda Collison. HD
The Sikelela Chokka Boat ran aground entering Port St Francis Harbour at around 7.30am on Wednesday 27 August 2014. It had smashed to pieces against the rocks by 2.30pm the same day. The skipper and crew were all safely removed from the vessel.

St Francis Bay
SEA Pledge visited St Francis Bay on our coastal road tour in November 2011. We met with many wonderful people, including Johan Barnard, the Harbour Master for Port St Francis, Warren Manser from St Francis tourism and Rob and Samantha Bester of Gypsea Marine Eco-Tours.
