Porto Katsiki beach on Lefkada Island is one of the most beautiful Greek beaches. It is also in the top of the list of best beaches in Europe each year. It is located 45 km southwest of the island's capital. This is one of the most favorite beaches and it is considered to be one of the island’s major attractions. Porto Katsiki beach looks truly fascinating surrounded by incredible hills which make it accessible only by 80 steep steps descending along the cliff. There is a car parking available as well as snack bars on the top of the stairs. Numerous sunbeds and umbrellas cover this famous sandy beach but the cliffs offer some beautiful shaded spots for some privacy and relaxing sunbathing. This beach will take your breath with its magnificent beauty. The beauty of its turquoise blue waters, green grass on the top of the imposing cliffs and long golden sandy beach will leave a strong impression in your memory.

Porto Katsiki is a magnificent natural attraction of Lefkada and among the 10 best beaches in Greece and in the Mediterranean. It is located 45 km southwest of the island’s capital (1,5 h driving) and close to Athani village.
The natural beauty of Porto Katsiki is one of the most recognisable of the island. Rough white cliffs form a wild yet impressive scenery and a unique antithesis with the deep blue Ionian waters. Lush vegetation covers the surrounding area creating an idyllic landscape. The cliffs over the sandy beach offer some beautifully shaded spots for some privacy and relaxing sunbathing. A few more steps will lead you directly to the beach.

Porto Katsiki beach Lefkada. Most photographed beach on earth. Nice, but very crowded and with rocks on entering sea. Nice parking place - 5 eur per day. Come early in the morning to find a place :)

Porto Katsiki Strand Lefkada. Der meist fotografierte Strand der Welt. Schön, aber sehr voll und mit Felsen am Meer. Schöner Parkplatz - 5 EUR pro Tag. Komm früh am Morgen um einen Platz zu finden :)

Παραλία Πόρτο Κατσίκι Λευκάδα. Η πιο φωτογραφημένη παραλία στη γη. Ωραία, αλλά πολύ κόσμο και με βράχια στην είσοδο της θάλασσας. Νίκαιος χώρος στάθμευσης - 5 ευρώ την ημέρα. Ελάτε νωρίς το πρωί για να βρείτε ένα μέρος :)

Porto Katsiki (Πόρτο Κατσίκι 'goat port') on the Ionian Sea island of Lefkada is a beach. The name is said to be because formerly only goats could reach this area. The beach is at the bottom of a concave pale cliff. It is 35 km from Lefkada town, near Athani village. Porto Katsiki has parking lots and canteens. There is no lodging, and camping is prohibited. There is a stairwell down to the beach from the cliff-top parking.
