POSTMARK BREWERY VANCOUVER | VLOG 57
Another week in Vancouver and its become pretty apparent our lack of knowledge and education on the art of Craft Beer - lucky we have a guy! Nate from Postmark Brewery is a friend from 10 years ago who was so amazing to us uneducated, biased & simple beer drinkers! Nate took the time to take us around his own brewery to show us craft beer is an art, is a drinkable beer and doesn't just focus around shoving every flavour under the sun into a can! We may still love our Carlton Draught but we know a bit more now to not just be the Aussie Beer Drinkers that we thought we were!
If you're in town, the Postmark Brewery is a great night out, a good feed and a selection of beers & wine from hometown Vancouver and Canada that had the place packed on a Friday night, people who knew what they were talking about and had so much selection to offer!
So.... Two Beers Please may, just may, come up on a bit of beer knowledge... finally!
See you next week for the 6 week plan - fingers crossed for our next visas! :)

Postmark Brewing - Meet the Brewer | CCBC
A chat with owners and head brewmaster of Postmark Brewing, in Vancouver, BC, Canada. How did they start? What's the unique thing about their beer?
Postmark Brewing | Canada Sevens: Sevens Easy Lager
How one of Canada's best breweries got acquired
Ever wonder what happens to a brand AFTER a major acquisition?
I had the opportunity to sit down with Steve Thorp, the Co-founder and Managing Director of Postmark Brewing to ask that very question.
Steve is a serial entrepreneur and the heart behind some of BC’s most loved lifestyle brands including Vancouver Urban Winery, FreshTAP, Belgard Kitchen, Havana Vancouver and several other ventures.
Postmark Brewing has quickly become one of North America’s most renown craft brewery brands being sold all across Canada, and also in key destinations within Asia and Europe.
With this recent acquisition by Craft Collective Beerworks, their story is only going to evolve.
Listen to our chat to hear what Steve’s most excited for next! ????
More about Steve Thorp:
Steve Thorp, serial entrepreneur and brains behind some of BC’s most prominent lifestyle brands, was busy trying to get his first business idea off the ground, waxing snowboards in a friend’s garage in Alberta.
It’s no surprise Steve caught the entrepreneurial bug early. His father was a small business owner working in the resource sector, and he got to see the ups and downs of business ownership from an early age. It inspired him to move to Vancouver and take a business course at Capilano University. For some extra coin, he started a job at The Boardroom, a skate and snowboard shop in the city’s Kitsilano neighborhood. It was during his time working here, he’d feel the lure of entrepreneurship once again.

Postmark Brewing India Session Ale | Awesome BC Craft Beer Ep. #11
Be yourself. That's what Postmark Brewing is doing and it works. Their India Session Ale (or ISA) is not trying to impress you, but you will be impressed because it uniquely itself and that is interesting. It's not screaming out for you to acknowledge it with any gimmicky or experimental ingredients. Postmark's ISA is just present, at this party as you are, and should you want to approach it, you won't be disappointed. If you want to avoid it, no hard feelings, it'll go on doing its thing.
Postmark Brewing leans on the west coast lifestyle pretty heavily for its branding, and like the people of the west coast, their ISA is laid back and chill. Not going to cause a ruckus. Not meant to be slammed back or shot gunned — although you could with the ISA because it's very crisp and not too heavy on sweet or bitter flavours. This would be a luxurious beer for a beer pong game, but better off, a reward after a long day out in the west coast rain.
A pleasant companion, Postmark ISA is a beer that can hang with everybody.
