I had a walk the row of Cherry bossoms in Uji park of Kyoto on sunday.
Here Sakura blossoms was so beautiful too. And the wild gray herons have inhabiting in the Uji river. And I took a video of that bird too.
But this day was so strange weather. This day almost was sunny day, But sometimes the rained, and so strong wind blew.

Uji is located between the historical cities of Nara and Kyoto. Uji is known for Byodo-in, the temple that is featured on the reverse side of the 10-yen coin. It is also known as the region where some of the best green tea in Japan, and perhaps the world, is grown, and it is home to the oldest shrine building in Japan, Ujigami Shrine. Finally, many literature fans visit Uji because it is the setting to the last 10 chapters inTales of Genji.

A Short Tour of Charming UNESCO Uji, Japan
Uni is a small city between Kyoto and Nara that is very easy to do on your own. Stop by their tourist office to get a map and wander around or book a guide for $10 USD one week in advance for a four-hour tour. How easy is that!
Who knew that there were two UNESCO sights in Uji? Duh, not us since the group was there for a boring Japanese Tea Ceremony. Skip the tea, and walk to see all the ancient, wonderful sights in Uji.

It is just an amazing small hostel in the center of Kyoto and very close to the Imperial Palace. The staff is just awesome and the style of the interior/exterior typical japanese when you where thinking about a more traditional, old fashioned Japan. Felt like in one of my favorite Anime. ♥

Went to Nara just to see the deers. I wanted to come to Nara on my previous summer trip to Kansai region, but failed to do so. Now, I have finally came to Nara. The deers were really cute yet annoying when they bit my bag and stuff.

Nara Park
Nara Park is a public park located in the city of Nara, Japan, at the foot of Mount Wakakusa. Established in 1880 it is one of the oldest parks in Japan. Administratively, the park is under the control of Nara Prefecture.There are over 1,200 deer in Nara Park.

Nestled in the city of Uji in Kyoto prefecture, is Byodoin Temple (平等院) built in 998. Byodoin Temple incorporates the Buddhist Pure Land (Jodo) architecture. Byodoin Temple with its beautiful garden symbolizes the Pure Land Paradise. Originally built as a countryside retreat villa, Fujiwara no Michinaga, this temple architecture influenced the construction of future temples. Michinaga’s son transformed the villa into a temple. He ordered the creation of the temple’s most amazing feature, the Phoenix Hall. Though the hall bears a different name officially, due to the shape as well as the two phoenix statues on the roof, the hall is known as the Hoodo (“Phoenix Hall”). Visitors may be pleased to note this beautiful hall is imprinted on the back of the Japanese ten yen coin.

Heute gibt es etwas aus dem Archiv, denn es geht weiter mit meiner JR-Pass-Reise im Oktober 2016. Es ist eigenartig zu sehen, wie ich vor zwei Jahren gefilmt habe. Andererseits freut es mich auch, dass ich mich (glaube ich zumindest) mit der Zeit verbessert habe :3

An meinem 4. Tag mit dem JR-Pass ging es für mich von Kyoto aus nach Nara. Da es dort so voll war, bin ich dann nach Uji weiter gefahren.

Today we have something from my archive, because we are going on with my JR Pass trip in October 2016. It is strange to see how I filmed two years ago. But I am also happy that it seems like I got better with it (at least I think so) :3

My 4th day with the JR Pass brought me from Kyoto to Nara. However, I went to Uji then because Nara was so crowded.

The main hall of Byodoin temple, the Phoenix hall is one of the most famous architectures in Japan.
The hall and its garden is typical of a garden representing the Pure Land, a kind of Buddhist Heaven and its principal image of Amida buddha is regareded as a masterpiece of this kind.
The hall was under repair for a couple of years until 2014, so you can enjoy the original vivid colors of the building now.
