THIS IS ANOTHER BRILLIANT BEST FRIEND FROM EDWARD ELGAR COVERING THE HITHERTO NEGLECTED ISSUE OF WASTE POLICY
An appreciation by Phillip Taylor MBE and Elizabeth Taylor of Richmond Green Chambers
Edward Elgar Publishing is once again to be congratulated for raising another contemporary subject which involves us all: this time it is how we should deal with the subject of waste with the publication of ‘Waste Policy’ which all environmentalists will find absorbing reading.
Over the years from the medieval castle’s kitchen midden (always normally outside the castle walls) to the wheelie bins of today (not quite so far out), the subject of how to deal with our waste has never really been treated with the seriousness it deserves … until now when we start finding ourselves short of space and the municipal muck heap becomes a serious political issue. Therefore, we welcome this formidable study by Alexander Gillespie which looks at comparative and contextual perspectives concerning waste policy and the inevitable ‘international regulation’ regime for certain types of waste.
Gillespie reviews the subject matter (if we can call it that) from human waste and all its derivatives to nuclear waste raising the question of how we as a society must manage what we no longer want, in terms of either recycling or disposal. To say that this matter is one of the most pressing issues in national and international environmental law is quickly becoming an understatement as it has been on the political agenda for decades as the consumer and ‘the throw away’ society has begun to affect the planet in as big a way as the “doomwatchers” suggested as late as the 1970s.
Gillespie grapples with what has been a noticeable gap in previous environmental literature by incorporating a thoughtful array of economics, philosophy and the ideal of sustainable development in his book to provide us with a suitable context for the surrounding legal and policy considerations on how to manage waste.
The book’s main point is that all forms of waste are expanding exponentially, and are often of a hazardous nature: he is absolutely right but nothing has really been done about it in 20th century so it is now up to us. Gillespie examines the size of the problem in detail and then he goes on to consider how it is evolving today with a useful assessment of the legal and political implications, many of which are, frankly, very obvious to anyone who is aware of what we have been doing in the last few decades.
What we particularly liked about Gillespie’s analysis is that he shows us that existing solutions to reducing consumption and recycling are limited, and concludes by discussing potential ways forward which will be of benefit to many, particularly those in local government as elected members or officers.
Academics and students with an interest in environmental law at the national, regional and international level will find this book to be of special value for the content and suggestions put forward. It will also be of interest to practitioners interested in solving the issues surrounding waste and recycling and is highly recommended for both a specialist and a lay audience.

PRACTICAL GUIDANCE ON RETENTION OF TITLE AND INSOLVENCY IN ALMOST 30 COUNTRIES
An appreciation by Phillip Taylor MBE and Elizabeth Taylor of Richmond Green Chambers
When a nation’s economy – any nation -- is fundamentally dependent on trade, which means the buying and selling of goods, the pressing need for this new publication becomes glaringly self-evident. Recently published by Globe Law and Business, “Retention of Title in and out of Insolvency” is particularly useful for exporters as it answers a number of questions relating to matters of obligation and payment in the event of insolvency.
Say, for example, that you are a manufacturer or wholesale supplier who has sold goods to a company or individual who has become insolvent. By what mechanisms can you be paid? Or can you retain or repossess the goods if your customer doesn’t pay?
Obviously, there is no one answer, or easy answer. These and related queries involve all sorts of complications, which are complicated further when dealing with an insolvent, or an un-cooperative customer in an overseas jurisdiction, especially when it is apparent that insolvencies are on the increase everywhere.
If you find yourself in predicaments like this from time to time, here at last is a book which contains most or all of the advice and information you need, with specific reference to almost thirty countries worldwide.
From Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada and China, to Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the USA, all the world’s major business communities are discussed in alphabetical order with respect to the relevant legal issues pertaining to retention of title in each jurisdiction.
Each chapter – one for each country – is written by experts from top law firms in each jurisdiction. Their impressive range of qualifications and experience is detailed in the ‘About the Authors’ section of the book.
Commenting on retention of title issues in United Kingdom, based on the law of England and Wales, is Ken Titchen of Gately plc. This chapter alone provides valuable assistance to UK readers in such matters, as -- to cite only a few examples -- effect of partial payment of the purchase price… the pitfalls and possible solutions to problems involved in enforcement of retention of title… and of course, much more.
Cover to cover, this book is a real time saver for legal researchers who might normally spend hours or days trawling through a range of sources in search of answers to some of the truly thorny problems relating to the question of who retains title to goods in the event of insolvency… and under what circumstances.
The book of course, comes with a caveat which states in part that it is a general guide only and that legal advice should always be sought before taking any action based on the information provided.
The information provided however, makes this book a valuable source of practical, accessible and informed guidance for any number of professionals, from corporate lawyers and insolvency practitioners to virtually anyone involved in the legal aspects of national and international business.
The publication date is cited as at 2015.

A huge number of firearm rights activists from around the nation revitalized calmly at the Virginia Capitol on Monday to fight designs by the state's Democratic initiative to pass weapon control enactment — a move that has become a key blaze point in the national discussion over weapon brutality
The size of the group and the normal interest of racial oppressors and periphery local army bunches raised feelings of dread that the state could see a rehash of the brutality that detonated in 2017 in Charlottesville. In any case, the convention finished up uneventfully around early afternoon, and the temperament was to a great extent bubbly, with rally-goers reciting USA! and waving signs condemning Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam.
Numerous dissidents decided not to enter the assigned convection zone, where Northam had forced an impermanent weapons boycott, and rather pressed encompassing roads, many wearing strategic rigging and cover and conveying military-style weapons as they supported the speakers.
I love this. This resembles the Super Bowl for the Second Amendment directly here, said P.J. Hudson, a truck driver from Richmond who conveyed an AR-15 simply outside Capitol Square. He was one of only a handful scarcely any African-American convention-goers in a group that was overwhelmingly white and male and was every now and again halted and approached to posture for pictures wearing his Dark Matter sweatshirt.
An expected 22,000 individuals visited, as indicated by specialists, who said one lady was captured on crime accusation of wearing a veil out in the open.
Gov. Ralph Northam pronounced a brief highly sensitive situation day in front of the meeting, restricting all weapons, including firearms, from the occasion on Capitol Square. The normal cooperation of periphery civilian army gatherings and racial oppressors raised feelings of trepidation the state could again observe the kind of viciousness that detonated at a racial oppressor rally in Charlottesville in 2017.
The Richmond nonconformists, who were generally white and male, turned out in solid numbers Monday in spite of the crisp temperature to make an impression on lawmakers, they said.
The administration doesn't run us. We run the administration, said Kem Regik, a 20-year-old private security official from northern Virginia who carried a white banner with an image of a inscribed, Come and take it.
Northam was a specific focal point of the dissident's fury. One notice indicated his face superimposed on Adolf body.
A considerable lot of the dissenters wore cover. Some waved banners with messages of help for President Donald Trump.
Trump, thusly, tweeted support for its objectives.
The Democrat Party in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia are endeavoring to remove your Second Amendment rights, he tweeted. This is only the start. Try not to allow it to occur, VOTE REPUBLICAN in 2020!

PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PRESSING LEGAL ISSUES OF OUR AGE
AS WE ENTER THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION… STILL UNPREPARED
An appreciation by Elizabeth Robson Taylor of Richmond Green Chambers and Phillip Taylor MBE, Head of Chambers
and Reviews Editor, “The Barrister”
Equality, as part of a general policy of diversity, remains an outstanding and problematic topic for our times. In this excellent book on judicial appointments, the subject-matter is given the Routledge treatment by these two leading professors, Graham Gee and Erika Rackley, arising from the international conference held in November 2015. The visual illustration by Isobel Williams on the front cover is particularly striking for the three main levels of the judiciary (colour-coded)!
These questions are posed by the two Professors:
“What should be the primary goals of a judicial appointments system, and how much weight should be placed on diversity in particular?
Why is achieving a diverse judiciary across the UK taking so long?
Is it time for positive action?
What role should the current judiciary play in the appointment of our future judges?”
Not easy questions to answer, and we all have our own ideas of the approach which should be adopted! The editors go on to state that “there is broad agreement that diversity raises important questions for a legal system and its officials, but much less agreement about the full implications of recognizing diversity as an important goal of the judicial appointments regime”.
And they also suggest that “opinions differ, for example, on the methods, forms, timing and motivations for judicial diversity”. Too true! This subject will not “go away” and remains an uncomfortable reminder of how little progress has actually been made in 21st century… at least, so far.
This book arrives to mark the tenth anniversary of the creation of the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) in England and Wales. Professors Gee and Rackley have edited their work to cover comments from an array of talent: current and retired judges, civil servants, practitioners, current and former commissioners on the JAC and leading academics from Australia, Canada, South Africa and across the United Kingdom.
Their purpose is “to provide a timely and authoritative insight into past, current and future debates on the search for diversity in judicial appointments”. For, as they say, “this is the age of diversity” although do not hold your breath if you think there will be any action soon. Ironically, the editors do mention immediate change with announcements made in July 2017 that Lady Hale is now President of the UK Supreme Court, Lady Black has become a justice of that court, and Singh LJ has been appointed to the Court of Appeal… sadly we have a long way still to go.
Depending on what you are researching, the 22 highly qualified experts cover these topics: a review of the role and responsibility of appointments commissions; assessments of the JAC’s first ten years; appointments to the UK Supreme Court; the pace of change; definitions of ‘merit’ and ‘diversity’; mandatory retirement ages; the use of ceiling quotas; and the appropriate role of judges and politicians in the appointments process. So, you should find what you are looking for!
The book was published on 11th September 2017 and it is available both as a book and an ebook.
New World Order Agenda - Stay Awake
URGENT WARNING!
Bible End Times Prophecy
Talks of a UN Soldiers deployment to the US, US Marines on standby for Martial Law, a Bolshevick style Presidential Coup in the works, and more. Pressing matters, rapture imminent:
--------
We see many Christians around the world are being persecuted and censored for holding to the teachings of the Bible. This is just the beginning of the persecution of Christians who will be deemed as hateful bigots, and a threat to society.
-------
It appears an economic collapse looms above our head, as the petro dollar is at stake in Saudi Arabia and the Strait of Hormuz concerning various oil attacks. Meanwhile, the BOE Governor Mark Carney proposes to do away with the US petrodollar and establish a One World crypto currency that will most likely link to the Mark of the Beast (RFID chip implant).
--------
We see WW3 tensions are increasing internationally and according to this Christian prophecy, which proved true. World War III is just around the corner!
---------
Various cities in countries worldwide are protesting and rioting in the streets - Hong Kong, Chile, Barcelona, France, Etc. Meanwhile, a Presidential Coup and impeachment is forming in the United States of America. Order Out of Chaos is the Freemason motto and soon the AntiChrist One World Order will rise to power (Revelation 13).
---------
Israel is eagerly awaiting their Messiah (the AntiChrist) to confirm the 7 year peace deal (Daniel 9:27) before Jesus returns to reign and rule. Several Kabbalah Rabbis (unbiblical) prophesies are being published publically at JPost.com to usher in the False Messiah and garner support for the Third Temple, along with a renewed Noah covenant with 70 nations by the San Hedrin?
---------
The Jews rejected Him, Muhammad of Islam calls Him a prophet, the Jehovah Witnesses say He is an angel incarnated, Mormons say He is not God, the Hindus say He is only a Holy Man, the New Age makes Him into a normal man who ascended through occult practices, Buddhist say He was enlightened. So, who exactly is Jesus? Please see the link for an in-depth look at the identity of Jesus.
---------
Pope Francis, who appears to be the False Prophet of Daniel's 70th Week, seems to be uniting the world religions and cultures together in apostasy to make way for the One World Religion of the AntiChrist (Revelation 13). While the truth of the Bible slips further and further away from the world.
---------
It seems the digital infrastructure is being constructed behind the scenes for the One World Order of the AntiChrist to be unveiled when the Beast is in full swing with a surveillance type police state similar to communist China. The Beast system will be able to hear all, see all, and track your every move with various appliances and digital acessories.
---------
The Freemasons, Scottish Rite, Illuminati, and the like, have infiltrated and controlled the narrative of our country by pulling strings in positions of power behind the scenes since the foundation of the USA in order to conspire to establish the New World Order of the AntiChrist and overthrow Biblical Christianity.
---------
The Red Vs Blue, Republican Vs Democrat, narrative seems to be increasing tension between the United States citizens as Civil War appears to be moments away. Media propaganda and elected officials fuel the divide according to the satanic agenda.

FOR THE FAMILY LAW PRACTITIONER
DEALING WITH CHILDREN IN INTERNATIONAL SITUATIONS
An appreciation by Phillip Taylor MBE and Elizabeth Taylor of Richmond Green Chambers
Recently published by Jordans as part of their Family Law series, this is a comprehensive guide to the 1996 Hague Convention which came into force in the UK as at 1 November 2012. It has now been ratified by almost all EU states, the UK included.
Designed to improve the legal position of children (up to age 18) involved in cross border disputes, the 1996 Hague Convention is the last of three conventions which include respectively, the 1980 Hague Abduction Convention and the 1993 Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption.
Writing in the Foreword, Diana Bryant, Chief Justice Family Court of Australia mentions that Australia was one of the earlier counties to ratify. The authors have therefore set out the legislation in Appendix 3 and there are references to Australian cases which -- quite importantly for the practitioner -- provide some early jurisprudence.
The full implications of the 1996 Convention are yet to be seen. But broadly, families will feel more secure knowing that their legal rights with respect to their children can now be enforced and also, as the authors point out, 'courts and administrators will be faced...with orders made by foreign courts which they must take into account and which define the structure of the family.'
An extremely positive result of the 1996 Convention is that it has also been ratified by Australia, Croatia, Morocco, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Ukraine, Uruguay and the US, with Canada and New Zealand seriously considering it. It has therefore developed, say the authors, as 'an important international instrument dealing with issues of increasing global relevance.'
Beginning with a history and overview of the Convention, the book deals with such matters, for example, as jurisdictional rules, applicable law, recognition and enforcement. Chapter 7, dealing with a difficult issue, focuses on the impact of the 1996 Convention on International Child Abduction.
For the hard pressed family law practitioner dealing with children in international situations, the book is timely -- and fortunately, clearly written and easy to use. Each chapter is prefaced with its own individual table of contents and there's a detailed table of contents at the front. There are extensive tables of cases, statutes, statutory instruments and three appendices containing the full text of the Convention as well as all relevant source material.
As a work of reference, this book truly excels. Every family lawyer dealing with children in an international context should acquire a copy. The law is stated as at 1 October 2012.

Rebuilding a Borg warner 7.75 9 bolt posi
Borg Warner 3-series posi carrier... just sharing what I know and what I have done to refurbish mine. It is not difficult, I misspoke a few times, but this is all one take.
1. The window shows the clearance between the ridge and the cone center. If it bottoms out in the carrier, it's bottomed out in both places, or at least close to it.
2. The shims i used are 7.5 10-bolt pinion shims. doesnt matter whether it's a posi carrier or not since thats irrelevant to the gears.
3. These came in firebirds too, mostly in TA's actually, I keep forgetting to mention that, but I think you guys know that if you're looking for this.
9bolt.com for serious parts. Note it is shipped from Australia and may or may not be in AUD instead of USD. But if you need new gears, spider gears (apparently they are correctly called pinion gears but the terminology gets confusing sometimes) and posi assemblies and even spools and cones, they have them.
I use ratechmfg.com for my differential supplies. They have the pinion gear shims (pn 1104 ). Get two or three packs of them, by the way. You want to shim these things pretty far, and if done early, you can rebuild these things several times.
