The Prestige Golfshire at Nandi Hills Bangalore is one of the best golf course in the Indian Subcontinent. This semi-private golf course is owned by Prestige Group, designed by Bob Hunt of PGA Design Consulting (PGADC) and is managed by renowned Golf Resort Management Organization Troon Golf .
Prestige Group, among the top real estate developer of India with more than 195 completed projects, conceptualised the idea of having a premier golf course in Bangalore. They teamed with PGADC for development of the golf course. PGADC is an architectural firm in Great Britain specialising in golf course design, development and construction with over 400 golf related projects across the globe. The Golf course is built on 275 acres of land. The development has mansions, golf club, Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Convention centre and lake.
The 18-Hole championship Club Course measures over 7,000 yards from the championship tees. The golfing challenge offered here is tough because of the wild shaping of the links courses and distinctly shaped bunkers.
The 275 acre property will have 209 independent mansions, luxury Marriott Hotel housing 300 rooms including 30 luxury suites. Being placed atop the highest point of the project the hotel mesmerises you with the panoramic view of the golf course. On 150th anniversary, Bangalore Club plans to bring out a book
Bangalore Club, the city's prestigious landmark that carries a heritage tag, has completed 150 years. The club - established in 1868 for senior military and navy personnel - will bring out a book to mark its sesquicentennial. The book is likely to be launched in September/October in conjunction with Services Day to honour the armed forces.
