United Nations to talk about the future of Kenya's Wildlife
Ivory poaching has become a crisis in Kenya. The data collected over the last 24 months shows a massive escalation in the rate of illegal killing of elephants. The situation is now so bad that by most measures it can be considered out of control and certainly beyond the limits of what elephant populations can sustain. The Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Prof. Judy Wahungu talks tough on the way forward for Kenyan Wildlife.

The Kenya Home of Peris Nyambura Gituro
5 Time Karate/Kickboxing Champion Anthony Amp Elmore traveled to country of Kenya in May of 2013. Elmore's purpose of visiting Kenya was to sell his idea of the Safari Initiative to the Country of Kenya. Safari is an acronym that means; Styled African Family Application Renaissance Initiative. Elmore's goal of travel to Kenya was to ask the Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta to honor African Americans with a Formal State Reception in July of 2016. Elmore met with 5 Kenyan Governors who endorsed the idea. Nairobi, Kenya Governor Dr. Evans Kidero endorsed the program and he asked Elmore to register his company as a legal structure and Governor Kidero promised to take the idea to Kenya President Uhuru Kenyatta. Governor Kidero said that he would like to include the Safari Initiative as part of Kenya's 50th year Jubilee celebration that will take place in December of 2013.
In this video Elmore visits the home of Mrs. Peris Nyambura Gituro. Mrs. Gituro and her family have been friends of Anthony Amp Elmore for over 20 years. Elmore purposefully recorded this video of her home for multiple reasons. Elmore's idea of selling the Safari Initiative is to connect Africans and African Americans as family. Among African Americans the image of Africa is only a mystical place jungles and primitive ancestors who live among animals. Africa among African Americans does not present itself in a 21st Century image of a progressive elegant and sexy place to live and visit. We African Americans only see the worst of Africa imbued with only poverty, corruption and an unstable Government. While many Africans Americans honor Africa as our Ancestral Homeland Africa has not been the place that compels the African American to visit and invest. Elmore's Safari Initiative is a plan that introduce African Americans to the beauty of Africa.
The Gituro family home in Nairobi is an excellent model and example of the beauty of Africa. More important Mrs. Paris Gituro points out that African Americans are her brothers and sisters. Most Africans love their African American family and they are honored when African Americans visit. This video shows a living home in Africa that most African Americans can appreciate and relate too. While we African Americans can enjoy a Safari tour, family and culture is more compelling than spending time watching Animals. In this video we give African Americans an honest and 21st Century prospective of Africa. African Americans desire to meet people and not animals. We are also pointing out to the Kenyan Government how to develop the African American tourist and investment potential. The way to build relationships with African Americans is via a Cultural Integration. Anthony Amp Elmore is not just friends in Kenya but he is family. Peris brother Thomas Mwangi is like a brother to Elmore and his sons are like his nephews. Peris and her husband are like family. Peris husband went to school in America. The Gituro family is one among many African family who will extend their homes for receptions for African Americans during the Homecoming Celebration scheduled in Nairobi, Kenyan in July of 2016. Hi there! Welcome to part 6 of the Intro to Nairobi Capital.
My name is Phili and I am the marketing manager for Nairobi capital .
Last week I spoke about why you should invest in Nakuru. If you haven't watched that video and the previous ones , I suggest you click on the links below.
So, On today's' video, I am going to give you 3 solid reasons for why you should invest in Nanyuki.
If you are not familiar with Nanyuki, Nanyuki is a town in central Kenya 200 km north of Nairobi. It's known as a gateway to Mount Kenya and the wilderness of Mount Kenya National Park.
Why you should invest in Nanyuki.
1. Nanyuki is a renouned tourist destination.
With over 10 wildlife conservancies such as the Lewa conservancy and Mount Kenya wildlife conservancy ,Nanyuki offers unique chances to experience wildlife and the most sought after exquisite hotels and resorts in Africa. With that, Nanyuki has attracted a lot of investors and various holiday home development which is leading to a rapid demand of real estate in the area.
2. The Lamu port/South Sudan/Ethiopia Transport corridor aka. LAPSETT
prepared under Vision 2030, LAPSETT is the first single Gigantic, Integrated, Transformative and Game-Changer infrastructure Project the Government has initiated. The project is already underway is set to pass through Isiolo, a few kilometres from Nanyuki positioning it to grow even further. As a result, there is also an international airport being constructed in Isiolo. With that, we will continue to see the value of land in Nanyuki appreciate exponentially over the next few years.
3. British Army Training Unit in Kenya aka. BATUK
The British Army acquired a 500 acre land parcel on a 99 year lease where they have set up a training military base in Nanyuki. This has created a demand for residential developments , resulting to an overall real estate development of the area and land appreciation.
