Enter the forest Primeval| Primeval Forest National Park| 4k
As you walk through the Primeval forest National Park, you’re taking in a view of what the island of New Providence looked like a long time ago. Remarkably undisturbed, this evergreen old-growth forest is a haven for many species of birds, snakes, frogs and even bats. Nestled away in southern New Providence, this patch of forest is one of the last few remnants of original coppice forests on this heavily developed island. In the far back of this park stands ‘The Mighty Mahagony’, a “champion” tree that is believed to be the oldest Mahogany tree on the island. #exploreyourpark

Clifton Heritage National Park is separately ran and developed by The Clifton Heritage Authority, established by an act of The Bahamian Parliament in 2004. We are charged with the protection, and enhancement with this portion of our national treasure for our people today, and for generations to come.
This 208 acre landmark has been accessible to the public since 2009, as a historic, ecological, and leisurely public space, ever developing to fulfill and overachieve its purpose. Find out how you can support our efforts, with your patronage, or voluntarism.

Bonefish Pond is 1,235 acres of coastal wetland area. This is a park protected by The Bahamas National Trust and you can see a variety of different marine life swimming around the mangroves here. This area acts as a nursery to many marine species. You can also kayak here, I have before and I used Ultimate Tours Bahamas; read about my experience here:
