Thank You Prince George Concert
On Saturday, September 23, the City of Prince George hosted a party in Canada Games Plaza to celebrate the community’s successful efforts to welcome, assist, and care for Cariboo wildfire evacuees this summer. The evening was a simple opportunity to say THANK YOU to anyone and everyone who helped to make the lives of evacuees in our community even a little bit better while they were here as our guests.
It was a night to remember, not just due to the music of DJ Ant, Barney Bentall, and Glass Tiger, but because of the fantastic mix of thankfulness, generosity, and community spirit permeating the Plaza. And free barbeque!
Once again, the City welcomed representatives from Cariboo communities affected by wildfires, including the City of Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, and the Cariboo Regional District.
Be proud, Prince George!
Were you among the thousands there on Saturday? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
