CROSVILLE MOTOR SERVICES OPEN TOP TOUR
OF WESTON SUPER MARE
SUNDAY 3RD AUGUST 2014
So today during the day trip to Weston, myself and my friend Tim decided to use our friend's Crosville Motor Services
Bristol VR Open Top Double Decker VDL 613S which was operating the 152, Weston Tour Bus.
Filmed from the top deck, I filmed the bus departing from Princess Royal Square and travelling through the town centre out to Locking Road opposite the town's Rail Station.
Then the last few clips see the bus travel both sides of the Beach Lawn, seeing the huge fun fair thats on, and then travelling each way down Marine Parade, with the video ending upon arrival at The Grand Pier.
360 Degrees of Weston-super-Mare Seafront
This is my time lapse video taken on Weston-super-Mare seafront.
On a lovely sunny afternoon in June me and my Go Pro and some bits spent a lazy hour sitting on the grass in Pier Square / Princess Royal Square where I took this 60 minute 360 degree time lapse panorama of what was going on.
You get a view from the square itself past the fountain out towards the grand pier to the sea along the front and back passing Tutto's the Weston Wheel and other attractions as it turns.
Filmed by Me Music Composer / Musician John Mayfield.
Techy info
Filmed using a silver gopro Hd Hero 3 set in time lapse mode to take 1 shot per second. Edited to 15 frames per second to make the final 4 mins or so video.
The mount I used was a tripod with a gopro mount attached to the it inverted so i could attach the top of the gopro box to give a stable platform at height.
The gopro itself was mounted to my modified egg timer which gives the 360 degrees of movement in one hour, this was velcroed to the stable platform.
Its not perfect and the wind seems to cause slight juddering but as a full hours time lapse its been a great test :D

Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station
Isambard Kingdom Brunel (9 April 1806 – 15 September 1859), was a British mechanical and civil engineer who is considered one of the most ingenious and prolific figures in engineering history,[1] one of the 19th century engineering giants,[2] and one of the greatest figures of the Industrial Revolution, [who] changed the face of the English landscape with his groundbreaking designs and ingenious constructions.[3] Brunel built dockyards, the Great Western Railway, a series of steamships including the first propeller-driven transatlantic steamship and numerous important bridges and tunnels. His designs revolutionised public transport and modern engineering...
Bristol Temple Meads railway station is the oldest and largest railway station in Bristol. It is an important transport hub for public transport, with bus services to many parts of the city and surrounding districts and a ferry to the city centre in addition to the train services. Bristol's other main-line station, Bristol Parkway, is on the northern outskirts of the conurbation.
It opened on 31 August 1840 as the western terminus of the Great Western Railway from London Paddington. The railway including Temple Meads was the first one designed by the British engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Soon the station was also used by the Bristol and Exeter Railway, the Bristol and Gloucester Railway, the Bristol Harbour Railway and the Bristol and South Wales Union Railway. To accommodate the increasing number of trains the station was expanded in the 1870s by Francis Fox and again in the 1930s by P E Culverhouse. Brunel's terminus is no longer part of the operational station. The historical significance of the station has been noted, and most of the site is Grade 1 listed.
The platforms are numbered 1 to 15, but passenger trains are confined to just eight tracks. Most platforms are numbered separately at each end with odd numbers at the east end, even numbers at the west end. Platform 2 is not signalled for passenger trains, and there is no platform 14.
Temple Meads is managed by Network Rail[1] and the majority of services are operated by the present-day Great Western Railway. Other operators are CrossCountry and South West Trains. In the 12 months to March 2014, 9.5 million entries and exits were made from the station.
United States:
The United States of America (USA), commonly known as the United States (U.S.) or America (/əˈmɛrɪkə/), is a federal republic[16][17] composed of 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions.[fn 6] Forty-eight states and the federal district are contiguous and located in North America between Canada and Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the northwest corner of North America, bordered by Canada to the east and across the Bering Strait from Russia to the west. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The U.S. territories are scattered about the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, stretching across nine official time zones. The extremely diverse geography, climate and wildlife of the United States make it one of the world's 17 megadiverse countries.[19]
At 3.8 million square miles (9.8 million km2)[20] and with over 324 million people, the United States is the world's third- or fourth-largest country by total area,[fn 7] and the third-most populous. The capital is Washington, D.C., and the largest city is New York City; twelve other major metropolitan areas—each with at least 4.5 million inhabitants—are Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Phoenix, and Riverside.
