I'm in Suva; Fiji's capital, and I visit an outdoor swimming pool that feels strangely familiar to Ware Priory Lido. My old place of work. I went to investigate. Subscribe! Music by Kevin Macleod

Swimmers Brave The Cold Water To Raise Money For Local Hospice
In waters as cold as eight degrees, brave swimmers took the plunge at the Jesus Green Lido in Cambridge, all in order to raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice. The 91 metre long outdoor pool which dates back almost 100 years old played host to the fundraiser on Friday the 10th of May, when although the sun shone, temperatures struggled.
Ware Video Memories
Got this video from Aunt Carol - She writes:
Dear Tony - Your mother said you were interested in doing something with these old films (if I had any!). I noticed there are words scratched on 2 of the reels - Dawn (She was our St. Bernard) & Party. Don't know games means but I think I revall Party is for the garden party GM had for her (Grandmother) friends + their children.
We did look at these many years ago. They are quite fragile - if the film gets stuck in the projector the light source will burn a hole through the film.
Let us know how you are doing - we'd love to have a copy!

Hitchin Cobbled Classic Course (Sneak Preview)
Here is a sneak preview of the course for the 5th and final round of the TARMAC sponsored tourofhertfordshireseries.com around Hitchin. It starts just past the finish line and crosses where the line will be just before finishing. Obviously all the roads will be fully closed, barriered and made safe with crossing points and great spactator opportunities fro the full 8 hours of the festival. It should be noted that the private business site which the course winds its way into (along the narrower track after turning in through the gates) is a spectator free area and on the daty it will only be open for riders completeing a lap and event staff to enter. We hope you agree that it's a really exciting 980m course and we look forward to welcoming you to the inaugural Hitchin Cobbled Classic on September 25th 2016

Old sinks and modern swirl toilets. Might of been older Wentworths probably.
