Metro Manila Airbnb Condo Lifestyle | Acqua private residences Makati Philippines
Living and working in Metro Manila can be an awesome lifestyle. It can also be a bit stressful, even if you manage to land a high end gig.
Get up to $55 off your first Airbnb trip➡️
One of the ways to offset the stress factors is to find a great spot to live near where you can work and go out to chill. Like the Acqua private residences in Mandaluyong, which is one of the 16 cities that make up Metro Manila. And it has a lot of sweet staycation condo deals you can find on Airbnb. I always recommend checking out a few spots before settling on one longer term. Airbnb.com is an awesome and convenient way to do that in the Makati area, as well as all of Manila, Luzon and Visayas.

Hostels are lower priced sociable accommodation where guests can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed, in a dorm setting and share a bathroom, lounge and sometimes a kitchen. Rooms can be mixed or single-sex, and private rooms may also be available.
There are many misconceptions about hostels, and i too admit thinking that since hostels are cheap, they are dirty, unsafe and noisy. To my surprise, Junction hostel has changed my views on that.
Located in the Poblacion Makati, this 4-storey, 24 hour establishment has impressed me with its cool hipster chill vibe. Junction hostel has been successfully designed to entice locals and travellers alike. A perfect way to exchange culture, support the locals and boost tourism from all angles – something everyone can gain from.
The first thing i noticed was this unique, fun, hipster co working space.
Decal-bombed and decked out with funky lights, the communal area set a welcome atmosphere and a relaxed mood, in turn creating a wonderful vibe i feel friends and strangers will enjoy.
i found this such clever way of bringing locals and travellers together. I was lucky to be welcomed by Gabe ___, owner and business development exec of Junciton.
Gabe proceeds to give me a personal tour of the hostel. Before entering the stairway to the rooms, a huge Junc Map showcases photos or tokens pinned by guests from all over the world to remember them by.
No wall is left boring as fun quotes and sayings remind you that traveling is cool.
Makati Junction is one of the biggest hostels in the metro with over 80 beds. You can choose from a selection of one to two bed private rooms, COED 3, 4, 6 and 10s including private female dorms.
Junction’s rooms are designed for comfort and guest experience. Design-driven with industrial-inspired interiors, their rooms are equipped with all you need for a relaxing and exciting stay in the city.
Full of eye candy, the bold graphics and quirky furniture in their 24/7 social lounge has everything you need to “reboot”
from cozy couches to swinging hammocks, reading nooks, a TV/game room and a kitchen, you’ll never feel lonely.
They serve all day breakfast, Brewed or espresso and sinful pastries at the café in their “food truck” which is an actual up-cycyled container van that transforms into a social bar at night.
Come on in and make some new friends! I sure did.
Here i met Phil, a young millennial traveller who has travelled over 30 countries holding only his philippine passport. here is phil sharing a bit of his story with me.
Junction Hostel Makati offers everything you could possibly need; comfort, warmth, food, entertainment and of course, drinks! But try not to let it stop you from exploring the areas nearby where home-made food, restaurants and local everyday life can be experienced.
Important:
Junction Hostel is open 24 hours
Check-in at 2p.m. Valid ID in form of passport or driver’s license required upon check-in
Check-out by 12 noon.If you arrive early or if your flight leaves late, bags may be stored till your departure that day with no extra cost. Minimum Age Policy:Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in. No Pets allowed.

MANILA VLOG 2017 + MAKATI HOTEL | Manila, Philippines | Travel Vlog 027, 2017
Today we vlog Manila and the rooftop views out across Makati from our hotel in the city. Got a bit of a surprise when we arrived, we booked a sick hotel in Manila/Makati that was really cheap and had sort of forgotten about it. To celebrate, we had a swim in the rooftop pool and had room service breakfast for dinner... cos we in the big city and we can :P
Still though, it was cool to checkout Manila and we're looking forward to coming back. Likely would get setup in Makati again because it seemed like a chill spot!
