LIMASSOL PROMENADE - Cyprus

Limassol Promenade in Limassol, Cyprus is a development of the recent years that saw this area transformed into a great walk along the sea shore, complete with wooden bridges and fresh water fountains.

This area also houses all kind of exhibitions and leads all the way to the marina, being not far from Limassol Castle and downtown with it's vibrant life that starts mainly after dark due to the intense heat most of the year.

A Day In Limassol, Cyprus

One of the port stops on our 21 day NCL Jade Arabian Odyssey Cruise was Limassol, Cyprus. This was our fist stop to this small island. There are 2 countries ruling this island so be careful not to cross the border without your passport. Limassol has a some great beaches and some shopping you can do on a quick day stop in this sweet land. It is on the Greek Cyprus part of the island, although not a part of Greece. It is clear the Greek culture has immersed this part of the island. The northern most part of the island is under Turkish control. Take a walk through the shopping district and a walk on the famous promenade for some cultural experiences, fishing and maybe even a dip in the ocean.
