Marella Exploer Cruise Deals:
Marella Cruises, The former Thomson or TUI cruises create truly British cruise holidays. So when Marella Explorer Launched in May 2018, they decided to launch the largest ship in the fleet with a capacity of 1,924 passengers. The fleet as a whole, the ship is billed as all-inclusive (in that alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, food and tips are included).
There are 10 restaurants, half are included in the price of your cruise. The restaurants included in the price of your cruise are:
- The Market Place
- Snack Shack at Latitude 53
- Mediterranean’s pizza
- Tapas
- Vista’s Italian cuisine.
The restaurants that will cost a small extra are:
- Surf and Turf steakhouse
- Umi Sushi
- The Dining Club
Marella Explorer are admired for their professional and super friendly entertainment offerings and Explorer marks another step forward! During the day the entertainment team will be on hand to give you pool games, activities and fun competitions. This will all by the pool deck and centeral podium. On top of this there will be a cluster of activities, entertainment and live music up by the pool.
Marella Explorer has a laid back warm feel, a lot of the colours used are browns, beige and oranges. The ship is stylish and all come with the expected basics such as a safe, mini-bar, hair dryer, flat-screen TV, etc. There are also some brand-new Family Cabins on Explorer. Most of these family cabins can interconnect across all cabin categories.
Its worth noting that all the cabins across all categories are generous in size. There are a lot of insides and outside that offer 4 people (Pullman bed) options and good accessible options too.
Interestingly there are 2 balcony grades. The first one has a 12 square meter balcony where you will find a hammock and seating with a table. There are also some 20 square meter balcony cabins for the family, all at the back of the ship, so you can look bakc at the ocean views and see some truly beautiful sunsets.
Included in this is a Premier Service. This is where you can get on the ship first with the priority check-in, breakfast in bed and a free pressing service.

When you sail on any Marella Cruises ship, all meals, snacks and grats are included but If you choose either the Marella Discovery, Marella Discovery 2, Marella Explorer and Marella Explorer 2 your drinks are covered as well. But from summer 2019, Marella Dream and Marella Celebration will become All Inclusive too. There’s a long list of everything that will be included so, have a look at the different types of drink!
Despite being one of the older ships in the current Marella Fleet the Dream is consistently ranked as one of the most popular mid-sized cruise ships in the Industry winning numerous awards including more recently Best for Entertainment 2 years running from Cruise Critic and best for families and cabins.
Marella Dream has been sailing the waves ever since the 1980s and her ownership transferred to Thomson Cruises (now known as Marella Cruises) ' fleet in 2009. But while she's certainly been around a while, she more than holds her own against other more modern vessels, thanks to refurbishments that have left her with a state-of-the-art interior. With just over 1,500 passengers she has a modern retro feel.
All Cabins on a Marella Dream cruise come with Air Conditioning, Flat Screen TV, Minibar, Hairdryer, and Tea and Coffee facilities and Although Marella Dream has six grand suites and five suites, there’s twice as many ocean view cabins as inside, meaning there’s lots of opportunity for everyone to get the cabin they want.

Each adult assigned to the same cabin must purchase the same drinks package and sharing isn’t permitted. Children can have the Children's package independently of their parents. There is no requirement for adults in the same cabin to also purchase a package.
There are 3 main dining rooms here on the Ventura; Saffron, Cinnamon and Bay Tree. They each serve Breakfast and Lunch daily, while Cinnamon and Bay Tree also serves Dinner.
All cabins have air-conditioning as well as a well designed, relaxing feel. All bedding is Egyptian cotton sheets, and have the following things:
- Free tea & coffee making facilities
- A fridge
- Hairdryer
- Safe
- In-cabin TV
- En-suite bathrooms with toiletries pack.
There will be a personal cabin steward always on hand too.
There is, as you’d expect, a great selection of venues to enjoy a beverage at offering the choice of cocktails, British beers, classic wines and teas and coffees, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a different atmosphere and setting every night.
The Reef is the kids club. It has age-specific clubs available for under 18s such as:
