Visitando PUERTO PIRÁMIDES: El Único Pueblo en Península Valdés, Chubut, Argentina
En este video visitamos Puerto Pirámides, el único pueblo ubicado dentro de la reserva natural Península Valdés.
Comenzamos nuestro día bien temprano; nos estábamos quedando en el hotel Océano Patagonia, que esta ubicado justo en la playa, y nos habían contado que el amanecer es hermoso y vale la pena subir el acantilado para poder disfrutar la primera luz del día. Así que pusimos la alarma e hicimos exactamente eso!
De ahí, regresamos al hotel, comimos un rico desayuno, y fuimos a visitar la lobería. Nos habían dicho que quedaba a unos 5kms, pero la caminata pareció mucho más larga con el calor que nos tocó.
Después de ver los lobos marinos, regresamos al pueblo y almorzamos en La Covacha. Yo comí uno de los platos más ricos de todo el viaje: raviolones rellenos de langostinos con crema de mejillones y calamares a la provenzal. Fue una delicia! El plato de Samuel también estuvo rico, pero yo sigo soñando con esos raviolones!
Luego en la tarde salimos a pasear por la Avenida de las Ballenas, una calle con muchas tienditas, restaurantes y cafes. Lo raro es que no había ni una persona en las calles - después nos dimos cuenta que todos estaban en la playa!
Ese fue nuestro día en Puerto Pirámides.

¡Hola chicos! Somos Samuel y Audrey, una pareja de vloggers viajeros de Canadá. En este canal compartimos nuestros videos de viajes y comida mientras recorremos el mundo.
Nuestro viaje más reciente fue a Argentina, donde pasamos tres meses viajando por el pais y visitando lugares en las provincias de Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Chubut, Rio Negro, Neuquén, y Mendoza. Nos enamoramos con la belleza del país y estamos anciosos por compartir con ustedes los lugares que concocimos.
Argentina es un país con tanta diversidad: desiertos, selvas, montañas, glaciares, tundra y más! Y ni hablar de la comida: asados, pizzas, pastas, milanesas, vinos, alfajores y medialunas! La pasamos más que bien!

Puerto Pirámides es una localidad del departamento Biedma, en el norte de la provincia del Chubut, Argentina, sobre el golfo Nuevo, en la Península Valdés.
Es el único centro poblado dentro de Península Valdés, área que fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por Unesco.

BEACH TOWN IN PATAGONIA | Visiting Puerto Piramides on Valdes Peninsula | Chubut, Argentina
In today's travel video, we explore the Patagonian beach town of Puerto Piramides, which is the only town located within the Valdes Peninsula. The town has a population of just over 700, though for a few months of the year, the whale population far exceeds the number of inhabitants on land! We had one full day to explore Puerto Piramides, so we spent it: watching the sunrise up on the cliffs, hiking out to the lobería where we saw sea lions, eating a delicious seafood pasta at La Covacha, strolling down the colourful Avenue of the Whales, and enjoying our stay at the Oceano Patagonia eco-hotel. We hope you enjoy this little taste of a beach town in Patagonia and we'll see you tomorrow with more adventures around the peninsula!

BEACH TOWN IN PATAGONIA | Visiting Puerto Piramides on Valdes Peninsula | Chubut, Argentina
Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world.
We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country.
We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey's parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine.
From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut.
While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina.
Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival.
We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey's dad again.
To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country.
Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture.

Peninsula de Valdes, Punta Flecha, Isla de los Pajaros, Puerto Piramides, Punta Pardelas y Lobería. Lugar declarado por la UNESCO como Reserva de la Biosfera
El recorrido comienza por Punta Flecha, con avistamiento de ballenas, continúa por avistamiento de la Isla de los pajaros, ambos en la cercanía de Puerto Madryn y luego Puerto Piramides, con una toma aerea con un dron.
A continuación otra toma aerea de Punta Pardelas, con avistamiento de ballenas.
Al día siguiente el Puerto Piramides propiamente dicho y nuevamente las ballenas con las embarcaciones de avistamiento, con otro avistamiento en otra bahía cercana, junto con la Lobería y elefantes marinos, para luego emprender el regreso. Setiembre del 2017

Increìble mañana en Puerto Pirámides en plena bajamar.
El viaje llevó hasta Punta Norte para ver las ballenas Orcas, las cuales no aparecieron en ese día.
Sin embargo llegar temprano a Pirámides permitió dejar este registro bajo condiciones sin viento.
Los invito a conocer Península Valdez.
Mucha diversidad Faunística. Varios lugares para detenerse y observar el paisaje de la estepa patagónica.
En Pirámides el agua es fría pero extremadamente limpia y clara.
Hay lanchas de paseo y se utiliza mucho este destino como lugar de salida para ver la ballena Franca Austral en su temporada.

Sea lions are the most accessible of abundant marine wildlife in the Valdes Peninsula of central-eastern Argentina.
Renowned for its year-round conditions for viewing animals, the Valdes Peninsula is a designated UNESCO World Heritage and Cultural site. From both the Atlantic and on the coast, opportunities abound to view magnificent animals.
In addition to the boat tours promoting whale watching and land treks to the remote coasts for penguins and elephant seals, the village of Puerto Piramides offers huge creatures not far from town.
Matt faces windy conditions, on the Loberia Trail, in northern Patagonia, to observe lobos marinos, sea lions. This hike, naturally, is without cost.
