해묵은 논쟁이 해소될 것으로 보입니다.
정율성 선생의 외동딸이
이제 협력할 때라고 말하면서
지자체 사이에도 상생 바람이 불고 있습니다.

광주에 있는 두 개의 정율성 생가.
불로동이 맞다, 양림동이 맞다,를 두고
지난 10여년간 논쟁이 이어져 왔기 때문입니다.
유족들이 출생지 확인소송까지 냈지만
그마저 각하판결이 나며
출구 없는 논쟁이 이어졌습니다.
그런데 소송 당사자인 정율성 선생의 외동딸이
모두 힘을 합칠 때라고 말하고 나서며
분위기가 달라지고 있습니다.

굉장히 많은 단체가 정율성 선생의 기념사업을 하고 있는데 많은 단체가 하다보니까 힘이 분산돼서 제대로 진행되지 못했던 것 같고요. 통합되면 더 큰 힘을 발휘해서 잘 될 것 같습니다.
현재 광주시는 정율성 음악제를,
남구는 정율성 동요제와 거리 조성을,
동구는 생가만 보존해놓는 등
사업이 제각기 분산되고 있는 상황입니다.
